I don’t have a problem with that, but it really kind of depends on if the Cruz folks can contain their loss.
I’ve got no axe to grind against Cruz folks, but I’m sick and tired of the antics.
I have thought to myself that if Cruz wins, I’ll take it in stride and and accept it.
Can they say that? I seriously doubt it.

...when you consider that Churchill was born under similar circumstances it feels less certain that Cruz is a NBC. I honestly don't know how anyone with any intellectual integrity can possibly claim that being born in a foreign country to an American mother and a non American father qualifies one as NBC.
No one's arguing that Ted isn't a citizen of this country - only that he's not a natural born citizen of this country.
NBC is the purest pedigree of citizenship there is, i.e., born in country to two citizen parents of that country. There is absolutely no question that the Framers intended that the office of President be restricted to only those of that birth condition.
If that wasn't their intention, they would have had no need to insert the 'grandfather clause' into Art II Sec I (which enabled those of the Founding Generation to hold the office).

It seems Trump will start running the table beginning Monday in Iowa. If Trump supporters (I'm one) act like assholes that will make it very hard to bring everyone in for the general. I agree. For my part, I've been doing my best to keep a civil tongue in my head for the last eight months. I intend to keep it that way. We're all on the same side here, ultimately.

It's an easy fix. I'll try to remember it tomorrow evening. Thanks Doughty.
Can you fix the dang squiggly apostrophes while you're at it?
I know, I know..

Well, hopefully they will die down a bit after Monday.
Not holding my breath.
We’re on to New Hampshire after that.

It is hard to come online when there is so much animosity between Trump and Cruz supporters.
I’m a Cruz supporter but I could go with Trump. I’m hoping we can come together to elect a conservative President.
I enjoy the threads. Thank you and D1 for putting them up daily.

Hi again,
Results link works fine on the Vote thread, but the next button also goes to 404 from the Lenovo computer.

This is a very good point. I just don't understand why Cruz is letting it all 'hang' like this.

So where is the 1/31 data?
To: vette6387
No final results available yet because people still have time to vote. Check back about 12:45 A.M. It takes a few minutes for DoughtyOne to compile it. (If tonight is any indication, people will start asking where the data is before then.)

“Cruz HAS an NBC issue. Plain and simple. HE needs to get to the bottom of it.”
If he were sure it isn’t a problem, he would have done something concrete to try and dispose of it. The fact that he has’t is indicative of the existence of a problem, at least in his mind! It’s akin to Hillary trying to blow off the fact that she’s committed criminal acts wtih her e-mails. If there was no there there, she’d be in court trying to clear her “not so good” name.
To: vette6387
So where is the 1/31 data? The data for 31 January won't be available until the voting has ceased, which will be tomorrow at midnight.
