Very interesting, but I would not have put Super Bowl 25 at the top of that list. I’m a NYG fan, but there’s something about a game ending with a missed field goal that takes away some of the historical value of it.

I agree about that Ravens-Giants game being so far down.

SB XX at #48? That's the last one I watched, and moved from Chicago to Hawaii a few
months later. But that Bear team with Mike Ditka was a blast of fun. I watched part of the
game down at Daley Plaza, where it was well under zero.

Too many recent games in the top 10 for my taste.

I don’t have a lot of interest in this SB, as I really don’t care for either QB or team.

My fav QBs decided they would rather be home and watch on the big screen TVs than have to be playing, what with those SB rings being so big and gawky and heavy to wear.

I hope this upcoming SB is competitive and not a blow-out.

I think the Patriots would have given Carolina a better run tor the money, but we’ll see. Hopefully we’re not stuck watching the second half just to see the commercials.

I remember this one very well:

39. Super Bowl XXII

Washington Redskins 42, Denver Broncos 10
San Diego, Jan. 31, 1988

I watched the game in a movie theater that had been converted into a pub. The place was full of Bronco fans who were whooping it up in the 1st quarter. Midway through the 2nd quarter that whooping by Denver supporters had been replaced with a whipping by Redskin players.

My other favorite was when the Saints beat the Colts in Miami in 2010.

fwiw best Super Bowl I’ve ever seen was Cardinals-Steelers. With the James Harrison return and Santonio Holmes catch being two unbelievable, legendary plays.

Rams-Titans was a close 2nd.

I thought Giants win over Patriots (David Tyree catch) had the most drama. Giants D was all over Brady the whole game and that closing drive with the Tyree catch was pure magic. I think the Patriots were undefeated up to that point, too.

I still think Super Bowl XLIX was the best—it was a great, exciting game right from the start until the very end, when an inexplicable decision to call a pass play ended the Seahawks’ chances with that sensational interception.
