Reading some threads, I see Cruz folks starting to sound like they're starting to buy the Trump Big Lie that Trump "won" the debate, and knocked Cruz out. Don't believe it for a second.
I can't be specific what I'm referring to. We'll just have to say it's interesting data from "a friend."
What I am seeing is national, not relating to Iowa specifically. And it's not a cross-section of Republicans, but it probably is a pretty good barometer of conservatives.
Based on what I'm seeing, Rubio is going absolutely, positively nowhere, and Trump is going downhill. Pretty big. Maybe not the final implosion, but MUCH bigger than just the day-to-day noise.
Combine this with the fact that we're not seeing any surge in voting registration in Iowa*, indicating that (sadly) Trump is NOT motivating huge new blocks of voters, and I don't know how he can win... unless Cruz people get disheartened by the nonsense being pumped out by Politico, CNN, and all the other left-wing Trump lovers.
(*Again, this is not a tell-all. Last-minute registrations and simply activating existing registered voters could be plenty to bring about astounding voter turnout. But it is a dog that's not barking. New registrations have in the past correlated with surges in caucus participation.)
I just hope our nation can survive in its present form.
Thank YOU!!
>> So basically you have no clue. :-) <<
Gee, Georgia Girl... you’re just so astute, aren’t you? (/sarcasm)
You must be all 'pins and needles' in hopes that Trump makes it to the WH, so that he and your buddy KGB Putin can get started restoring the Russian empire.
O'Malley would have been a more benign choice to oppose Hillary, but somehow his campaign never took off.
Oh cmon. Its “D” Day. If the shaming letters can’t put Teddy over the top its out of your hands. Relax. :-)
You have to realize these SOB’S have infiltrated our education system for years now, our kids from grade school have this propaganda crap drilled into them!!! Our ONLY salvation in our country right now is homeschoolers, and charter schools!!! Then EVERYONE has been convinced that they must go to college they are cesspools of LIB think!!! I wish more kids would go into the trade schools, welding, electrical, ect. The only way to REALLY save this socialist thought from taking a firm hold is to SAVE our kids from the education system in this country!!!!
GOP-e is pimping Rubio HARD these last few days!!! He is their savior now they are going to try to shove this down our throats again folks so get ready!!!!
I appreciate your analysis.
I am still believing that Laudner is farther ahead of the game than people expect.
tl;dr edition
Please excuse me whip I’ll feed you a lot of propaganda and predict that Cruz will win based on complete BS.
Obama is further left than Sanders, yet he was elected TWICE. Talk about how utterly stupid we're getting as a country. Obama had the highest leftist rating in the senate. Sanders was second, dopey Biden, 3rd.
Yes I think that has some merit but Rubio polls worse than Cruz. In the end the GOPe are going to accept Trump as they should. The party will have to come together for the general election.
Birds of a feather...Ducking Donald and his "good friends".
Not sure how I ended up on this ping - because I’ve shown an interest in Trump?
Seriously, back off - I don’t much care what any armchair pundits say in this forum - whether they are for or against any candidate. Take me off your little list and please do not include me in the future.
Thanks
Apologies, AllAmericanGirl44. I simply wanted to amend my comments to anyone who responded to them the first time.
You know, you didn’t have to be so nasty but you just couldn’t help yourself. Nobody was being nasty to you.
I had to laugh at the “shown an interest in Trump”. You’re 100% in his pocket.
You are not the one who needs to apologize. There was know reason for the nastiness. You were not being nasty.
Is there anybody that didn’t expect the ‘discourage the Trump vote’ posts, along with the ‘get out the Cruz vote’ posts. The registration issue has already been chewed up in this forum weeks ago.
It seems to me that all along folks have been saying Cruz would win the caucus state of Iowa but that Trump would win NH and SC.
Probably will work out that way
