Reading some threads, I see Cruz folks starting to sound like they're starting to buy the Trump Big Lie that Trump "won" the debate, and knocked Cruz out. Don't believe it for a second.
I can't be specific what I'm referring to. We'll just have to say it's interesting data from "a friend."
What I am seeing is national, not relating to Iowa specifically. And it's not a cross-section of Republicans, but it probably is a pretty good barometer of conservatives.
Based on what I'm seeing, Rubio is going absolutely, positively nowhere, and Trump is going downhill. Pretty big. Maybe not the final implosion, but MUCH bigger than just the day-to-day noise.
Combine this with the fact that we're not seeing any surge in voting registration in Iowa*, indicating that (sadly) Trump is NOT motivating huge new blocks of voters, and I don't know how he can win... unless Cruz people get disheartened by the nonsense being pumped out by Politico, CNN, and all the other left-wing Trump lovers.
(*Again, this is not a tell-all. Last-minute registrations and simply activating existing registered voters could be plenty to bring about astounding voter turnout. But it is a dog that's not barking. New registrations have in the past correlated with surges in caucus participation.)
“you and me must not lose heart”
Guess you mean “you and I”?
Sure. “You and I ...”
“Trump ... they fear he will bring back protectionism.”
I pray that happens. What American wouldn’t want protectionism?
“you and me must not lose heart”
In this instance, you break it down:
“You must not lose heart. I must not lose heart.”
You wouldn’t say “Me must not lose heart”.
Peace be upon him - belongs next to your man Cruz who clearly identifies with that moniker.
You look so foolish every time you post that, but I’m certain you’ll continue to do so as it gives you some little thrill up your leg, or something.
Just to help you out, you gain no credibility when you resort to such a pious attack, it pretty much negates everything else you have to say.

Could mean Cruz is not motivating voters, especially by sending them notes about them and their neighbors’ voting records.

The Cruz shaming letters are not working. :-)
You look so foolish every time you post that

We are not worthy of DONALD TRUMP (LET US PRAISE HIM)...our NOBLE DELIVERER who ALWAYS SPEAKS TRUTH to us, WILL NEVER DECEIVE US and will deliver ALL of HIS promises to us.
He will TRULY DEPORT TENS OF MILLIONS and ONLY “TOUCHBACK” several thousand (who HE will make citizens). HE will RID US OF OBAMACARE & will not replace it with other costly UNIVERSAL TRUMPCARE.
Steve Deace’s best friends sister’s boyfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who said that Trump is polling 83 percentage points behind Cruz in internal polling.
Serious delusion. It’s all over Twitter that Cruz is shifting resources and ads against RUBIO to keep from a devastating 3D place finish. Over 196,000 people have viewed Trump’s “how to caucus” video. If only a fraction of those are IA voters, it’s over.
Added to that, the latest PPP poll shows Tump supporters now at 80% certainty.Cruz half that. A third place finish here is a back breaker for the entire Cruz campaign.
>> Itâs all over Twitter that Cruz is shifting resources and ads against RUBIO to keep from a devastating 3D place finish. <<
That’s stupid.
69% (not 80%, but good) of Trump voters have their mind made up. 42% of Rubio voters have. So, if Cruz wants to beat Trump, he has to flip Rubio voters.

Funny, I see 8,000. And who says they’re going to VOTE for Trump?

Who says they’re going to vote for Trump? I watched it.
He has numerous, numerous sites for this. I think one in every region. The 80% solid came from a different poll. So many now-—all good for Trump-—I forget.
Don’t need 193,000 to vote for Trump. If 25% do, he wins with one of the biggest landslides in IA history.
Oh now that is wicked...
But funny ;)
“Like Obamaâs â Bat Boy â ears?”
You mean ‘Pleasure bent’?
I’m updating EVERYONE, because someday Iowa will be in the past, and I care about my reputation on Free Republic.
Trump was gravely harmed by backing out of the debate; there was a huge swing to Cruz. But Cruz was gravely harmed by the idiotic mailer. The data I’m seeing is that the people angry at Cruz went to Trump. But the people who comprise my data are basically going to choose between Cruz or Trump come hell or high water. Some polls suggest that Rubio is the real beneficiary of all of this. Two recent polls show huge gains for Rubio. Given my sources, I have no way of knowing whether this is true.
Personally, I think Rubio is utterly clueless on the issues, a useless tool of the mainstream-left, statist establishment. He’s certainly more electable than Trump, but what’s the point? I’m fearful Trump is a statist tool; I know Rubio is. He may not be vengeful, petty would-ve tyrant Trump is, but only because he lacks an independent will.
Get out there everyone and clobber Rubio! And keep your chins up, Cruz fans... the Trumpeters are already making stupid excuses for doing poorly. (The “approaching blizzard” will arrive late for the caucuses and be mostly rain over the metropolitan areas that Trump polls most strongly over.)
My prediction based on other, public sources is that Trump loses. There is no surge in registrations, which is (only) an indicator that Trump (unfortunately) is bringing no-one new to the party. He could even finish third.

So basically you have no clue. :-)
“A friend”..must be referring to that voice of reason, Mark Levin.
You sound desperate. We’ll know tomorrow. I suggest taking sedatives until then.
