GALRAGON [GAL druh guhn]

If you saw the word and didn't know where the accent was you might think it was a slang term for a female dragon, but you'd be wide of the mark, unless you want to stretch a point.
To end the suspense, GALRAGON is what the people of the Shetland Islands used to call a sorceress or witch. The word has nothing to do with dragons in the sense of the legendary fire-breathing variety.
The Shetlanders took the word from Old Norse galdra-kona, a combination of galdra (incantation, crowing, or witchcraft generally) and kuna (woman).
A crowing woman may resemble a "dragon" in the slang sense of an intimidating beady-eyed old female, but the etymology is as stated.
Typically I cannot help myself and choose words with blatantly obvious intent.
Have at it wordsmiths. Awards for flamboyancy, esotericity and plain ole meanness receive extra credit. See you in the AM.
I still believe that Sec. Clinton is a galdragion given her magical ability to avoid prosecutions for her obvious multiple crimes.

If Hillary truly were a galdragon, she’d most certainly cast a spell to improve her appearance. I think her behavior is better explained as demonic possession.
Now I'm confused.
Do I light the galdragon? Or is the goldragon lighter ‘cause its shinier?
Did the Pern gold galdragons show up earlier than they took off when they time-traveled?
Watch out for galdragons like Hillary, Samantha World Power, Victoria Nuland (Noodlehead), and Angelina Jolie—as well as more minor galdragons like Emma Watson!!!! Then there are warlocks like obama, George Soros, and the “friendly” banksters of Goldman Sachs!!!!
Sorry kids, Harry Potter books and movies are demonic and are not for you—or even for Mom and Dad. Demons are very active these days—and their human enablers are cooking up all sorts of evil in the world!!!!

Megyn showed her true colors as a political hack. I don’t watch her, but then I don’t watch FOX at all any more. Interviewing MM is lowering herself. Why bother? Annnd....Whether Trump goes to a debate or not doesn’t matter to me. His attacks of Cruz are pathetic. The man is a sensitive egomaniac. Scary, too. I am not caring about this political circus at all. Ever since the SCOTUS failed me with that goshawful decision on Obamacare, I have been withdrawing from the poltical scene. Too painful.

I can’t withdraw, I live in DC, our local news is national. I am agnostic about everyone, don’t feel invested in any particular candidate. so it’s not really painful for me. if anything I am fascinated with hearing what people are thinking, it is fun to take the pulse of the populace.
xshub had a Tibetan Uber driver this AM, the guy works as an immigration lawyer doing asylum cases for Chinese as his day job. Jesse Helms got him out, back in the day. Talk turned to politics, as it will do, and the driver said he’s considering trump [the guy is MUSLIM! was forced into islam, should have been Buddhist] His wife likes Hillary bc she’s a woman [RME]. The driver said something about Bernie and xshub informed him about the income redistribution that Bernie advocates and he was appalled, he had no idea. I told xshub to continue his amateur Jesse Watters routine on this biz trip as well.
