Why would anyone want to be with someone you argue with? I want to be with someone who can work out problems without "arguing".
INDEED!!!!!
This is what FR is for!

A woman cannot be in love with a man she does not admire and respect. If it's obvious she does not respect you, then she has reasons other than love for being with you. Run. I think you're on to something there.
Thinking back over past relationships, it's the men I respect the most that I was most attracted to.
Looks weren't the deciding factor by any means.

Thinking back over past relationships, it's the men I respect the most that I was most attracted to. Of the men you were in a relationship with, if the crap has well-and-truly hit the fan, which one would you most want to be around? And where does he stand on the attraction scale relative to the rest?
There's a design reason for women to feel that way.

The one who ended up going into the Marines. He was the one I was most attracted to and that was before he joined.
Basically, it’s the one who’s not hesitant to do what is needed in any situation, who comes across as strong and is willing to stand up and defend me.
Someone decisive and goes for what he believes in.
Personal integrity counts for a lot and I hate pretense.
I don’t need to agree with him on everything. He can have his own friends and guy time. Sports are a non-issue for me.
And this may sound weird, but I don’t want someone who *needs* me. I don’t want to be needed. Women understand what that means right away. Some guys need it explained. Let me know if you get it.
