Back in 1990 Trump might have littered. Cruz might be an alien. Someone tweeted that Trump said he wants to shoot someone. Cruz is in the pocket of the big banks because of where his wife works.
I've never seen anything like this. Some FR folks are evidently searching the Internet for rumors and gossip, then posting it here as fact. Thank goodness for the Kitty ping. It's the main reason I stop by at FR these days.

This is certainly wearing me out. I refuse to get into personal name calling and insults yet I’ve been called Idiotic, stupid, and that I shouldn’t have a right to vote simply because I expressed my opinion and reply to another post about Ted Cruz and why I felt he is NBC.

Agreed. I have a top choice (Cruz), but a backup is essential. If our strategy is “my guy gets the nomination or I’m staying home” then Hillary will win. My backup is Trump.
I have concerns about both, but they are not the trivia of what each said or did in high school. My concern is how much of what they say today is what they will actually do. Rather than trash Trump, I’d like to see Cruz supporters who don’t like Trump (1) advocate for Cruz, and (2) explain who other than Trump is their #2 choice and why. Similarly for Trump supporters and Cruz, and their backup choice.
As for kitty pings, they’re the best!
I’ve been in and out of FR for a long time. FR has devolved from a “go to” conservative site - especially with knowledgeable contributors such as yourself - to something I’m having a hard time trying to identify. A large number of posters on FR have set out to destroy one the most conservative members in D.C. This has become a toxic place for true conservatives.
Did you pull that off of huff post or DU ?

Thanks, I had read about the smears before but I never dug into it that far so I just grabbed the first article that was easy to bring up and read the quotes.
Cruz and Trump both kill little kittens.
Our political media that destroys candidates for:
awkwardly checking out at a grocery store (Bush1)
referring to someone with a made up word (Sen Allen)
any criticism of a negro candidate: Racist! (any Obama opponent)
just mentioning that 47% of Americans are supported by the government (Romney)
...Off the top of my head.
You feel Tump is cheapening that highly principled civic nature of the political media.
I feel it would be great if Cruz could find a successful way of dealing with the dumb sluts of the media too.
