Washington (CNN)—When Iranian officials released footage of 10 U.S. sailors being taken captive, it made John Kerry "very, very frustrated," the secretary of state told CNN on Monday.
Kerry has been negotiating with Iran on a number of fronts for well over a year, including on the President's nuclear deal and a prisoner swap completed over the weekend.
But after U.S. Navy vessels "regrettably, inadvertently" drifted into Iranian waters, per Kerry, and the 10 sailors were taken by Iranians on Tuesday, Iran's military released footage of the troops with their hands behind their heads at gunpoint.

What makes me madder than anything is how and why the ragheads got their hands on those boats to begin with. If one was disabled they should have sunk in and all gotten on the remaining boat. They had 50 caliber as well as .308 and .223 weapons on board and a top speed of 40 knots to their advantage. Even if I would have violated Oslimeballs rules of engagement and had to go thru a court martial I would at least sleep soundly in that my command made it home safe. The capture could have been the beheading of them all.
Angry that the ships did not have more prisoners.
Thinking of my own time leading small boat detachments, why were they there initially? Was no one paying attention? They now even have GPS. There were two boats, so one could have towed the other. Back in my Old Navy even if I was leading LCM-8 landing craft without radar, I would have had a chart and noted danger bearings. Maybe they should have apologized, but I doubt it?
Could it be the Iranians have a different definition of territorial waters to which they want this Administration and our Navy to subscribe? That seems more likely.
Finally how could the Navy lose track of these boats? Why were the crews not initiating contact? During an amphibious exercise my wave of assault boats were swallowed by a fog. When I saw that fog coming I made sure the flag ship could vector us back to our LPD.
This event with directs my memory back to the Cold War involving China as well as the Soviet Union. Navy ships stationed in Yokosuka Japan â€patrolled†through the Taiwan Straits as they transited to Vietnam. Our captain told us that if any Chinese ship tried to intercept us we would fight. The prospect was not that exciting because our heaviest armament were three dual 3in50cal anti-aircraft mounts. But the Pueblo incident was on everyone’s mind and that was going to be our response.
As far as I am concerned everything we have been told by this Administration and their Navy acolytes is a lie.

If we ever hear the truth about what had happened, the reality may sound a bit like this article published twenty years after the Pueblo was seized. If my memory serves me right, the article finally provoked the Defense Department to allow the Pueblo crew to receive the Prisoner of War medal.

My guess is that after co-President Jarret gave the order she was surprised the Iranians used the incident they way they did.

It made him angry because or Sailors didn’t look subservient enough to the muzzie pricks which meant that kerry would have to go and bow and scrape to the ayatollah assahola.....and maybe give them more of our money.
Kerry thought they were Swift Boats, so he said, “Screw ‘em”.
The only reason to listen to Kerry is if you want to trade in your wife for a wealthier one.
Is Mullah Obozo trying to make Madam Secretary, Joan Kerry, look like a heroine re the release of our 10 sailors, the long time American prisoners of Iran and the stupid nuclear agreement with Iran.
Then, will Mullah Obama, pull the plug on Hilliarily with the FBI investigation and make Kerry and Biden the new rat heroes/candidates for Potus and VP?
