Look at the 8 minute mark and next 30 seconds. It isn’t facing out at all. If it were, the ladder would be directly under the camera. It isn’t. Actually looks positioned to look down the fence line.
So what? What’s wrong with hidden when it comes to our electrical grid security??

That’s our electrical grid security they are attacking. That is NOT funny. It’s moronic.
I’m actually surprised they were as prominent and unconcealed as they appear. This video may give others ideas about stealing some nifty cameras.
It is actually a pretty cool set up. The sticker looking thing on the front that actually allows the camera to view through like a one way glass has words above and below to make it look more like a sticker. It is kind of impressive. Still, I would rather they focus on Obama's or Clinton's espionage than a bunch of good ol'boys.
The pole is actually inside the fence line.
This thread is proof that the coherent can never have a rational conversation with the incoherent. Never. Real sad to see here on FR.

Your screen shot is from the first camera...not the one by the substation.
That is what is so stupid. It’s our grid - and all of us pay for this this kind of vandalism in our electric bills.
Look back on page one. The other camera with a guy on the ladder shows the same thing.
WTH. I hope it all ends peacefully, and they don’t get punished too severely for opposing the empire.

One of the neat things about FR is there always seems to be somebody in the group who is knowledgable on a subject...and can bring clarity to stories with additional information, etc. That happened here...and frankly it quashed the story right out of the gate, FR worked as it usually does. We just seem to have one hold out who may or may not just be screwing with us.
Ok, one last thing. You are basically saying they attacked the grid, so where was the fast response team to respond to it? What are the cameras supposed to do -whether hidden or not - when a trained team attacks substations?
I feel compassion for these men. Many former military. They feel that the feds have stepped over the line and they are trying to reel it back under control.
We mock them.
It is sad.

The other cool thing about FR is that we are not the same old place we used to be now that we have a lot of slurpers among us.
Come on man. They are all wearing guns - plus they are stupid and unpredictable -if you were a linemen would you go waltzing in to fix the cameras??
