I agree that someone in his position should have contributed towards a 9/11 charity, but he’s no shrinking violet when it comes to giving. In fairness Trump’s efforts towards rebuilding lower Manhattan needs to be considered.
So many of those charities were rip offs. The Donald was one of the folks, who along with Frank Sinatra, quietly helped the Central Park Jogger out with her hospital bills. I have no doubt he privately and quietly donated to individuals in need. This dog will not hunt.
Nop6. Direct assistance is better than going through a charity. Wounded warriors, for example, has huge advertising expenses that far outstrip the cost of actual help to wounded warriors. When floods hit our area the last thing we did was go through red cross. We went to the towns affected and got cash in the hands of churches.

Not only that but he has never spent a dime, or taken up a cause which defends conservatism, or would make America great again except when it benefits him. If he were a conservative or truly meant what he said he would have lived differently and support the right causes all these years. Think about what you could do as a conservative with a fraction of his money. What has Trump done? Nothing!
