Antonio Cromartie has made a career out of shutting down wide receivers. But it seems nothing can shut down the Jets cornerbackâs off-the-field game â not even a vasectomy.
The father of 10 â who once struggled to name all of his children on TV â has impregnated his wife with twins despite undergoing the sterilization procedure in 2011.
âThe failure rate can depend on how you do the procedure,â says Dr. Harry Fisch, a clinical professor of urology at Weill Cornell.
SNIP
A vasectomy can also fail soon after surgery.

Well...it won't guarantee that your wife won't get pregnant.
Doubtful this dude or his baby mamas complied!!!
PS, oh and as the doctor reminded me and my former hubby that his being infertile did not prevent my pregnancy!
I know of a nurse that my wife used to work with that got pregnant after her husband had a vasectomy AND again after she had her tubes tied.
Very I never could understand a couple having the man fixed.
He is not the one that get pregnant.
If he doesn’t want to father any more ok.
But if the women doesn’t want any more she should be the one.
Many years ago, neighbors of mine lost their grade school age daughter when she had her tonsils out - she died.
Her husband had his vasectomy surgery reversed and they had another baby.
Amen, Amen, Amen heh.
Now tell my wife that.
I’m a man, I will not be neutered.
If you're sure you'll never want any more children, it isn't neutering, it's FREEDOM!
That is a great, yet sad story.
Our story is reversed: We have spent almost $100K trying to conceive over the years.
Was it my youthful pot smoking that prevented us from conceiving? Probably not.
Is it the fact we are both over 40? Probably.
We are pregnant right now - 18 weeks along. That is the farthest we have ever gone without miscarrying.
My wife cannot take another miscarriage. It was emotionally devastating for her. Plus, we are wholly and completely out of money. If this attempt fails, we will reconcile our loss as God’s will and stop trying.
Either way, you are still breaking a system of your body.
“
“If your a man, I will not be neutered.”
“If you’re sure you’ll never want any more children, it isn’t neutering, it’s FREEDOM!”
Amen to that!!!
Correcto! Only if your parents didn't have any you won't.
I’d like a perfect baby, but at this point we’ll take ANY baby!
We already have one child.
We adopted 4.5 years ago. She’s very smart. My wife and I wonder if our biological child will be as smart as our adopted child.
I tell the wife “you keep on taking them prenatal vitamins!”
It’s kind of a contest or science experiment at this point.
This is true. There is always the mailman.
Just ask the milk man....
It is not hard to understand.
It is simpler, safer, less invasive, less painful and less expensive to do a vasectomy than anything comparable in a woman.
Further, a vasectomy can be reversed.
Good luck. For some reason I am surrounded by couples who would be wonderful parents that are having bad luck conceiving. It’s hearbreaking.
I remember when a reporter asked Antonio Cromartie to name his kids and their ages. He could not do it. Some of his kids were born in the same year, and they are not twins.
