Wayne Rogers passed last week but it seems that Gary Burghoff still lives.

So sad. Part of my childhood. Loved that show.

FYI, Klinger (Jamie Farr) is still around and STILL Working, doing a lot of Broadway Shows. He and his wife are good friends of mine and live close to me. See them all the time.

LOL! Thanks for the come back!

They had two muzzle loading rifles on that show. My father worked with the guy that made them and we traded for another one he made. That’s as close to meeting a star as I have gotten. Well, unless you count my mothers third husband. His cousin was Box Car Willy.

Tell Klinger that it’s good to see him on those ME-TV spots for MASH.

They bought the picture of him on a motorcycle for their buddy and a table he made. He seemed like a great guy. Prayers for his family and friends.

Somehow 74 doesnât seem that old. As I recall at one time he had a drug problem, like many in Hollywood, but I think he was living clean for many years. RIP.

Grizzly Adams was the perfect mid-to-late 1970s show. It took place pretty much outdoors. It had a friendly, wise Indian. Everyone was running around with long hair and leather, fringe-covered clothing. And, while they didn’t show it, you just knew that Grizzly stayed so mellow by sneaking off to Nakoma’s lodge to hit the Peace Pipe on a regular basis.

Three at a time seems to be the rule.
Bowie, Rickman and now Haggerty.
Three talented people I think were under appreciated.
Haggerty had his hey day before pay for TV actors went bonzo in Hollywood.
He was on an American Pickers episode. He came off as a genuinely nice guy. Very humble and kind of like the favorite neighbor. A man from another era.
I guess Reagan was right, the camera doesn’t lie.
Rest in Peace Dan.

Oops!
Wayne Rodgers makes four.
The exception that proves the rule?

Had to laugh the first time I drove through Ottumwa, IA.
Right near the city limits was a sign declaring it The Hometown of Walter “Radar” O’Reilly.
Also a sign outside of Metropolis, IL proclaiming it the hometown of Superman.

Didn’t Farr pump up the sales of minor league jerseys by wearing that Toledo Mud Hens jersey on a regular basis?
I loved how the Klinger character morphed into a more regular role when Radar left.
