This article really surprised as I had always thought Gooding wasn't a bigot. I believe his former wife is white, so his kids are half white. I am shocked to find that people whom I thought were fair, are really racist in their private lives. And yes, any black who didn't care that Simpson murdered two people, is a racist. I have a Conservative friend who is black, who was surprised when I said Simpson was a murderer. She said ‘you really think he did it?’. I said ‘no one else murdered those two people’. I liken the Simpson deniers, ones who refuse to accept truth, to the Hillary! supporters who don't care that she is a pathological liar. They KNOW she couldn't tell the truth if her life depended on it, but will still vote for her since she is their Democrat candidate.

I agree that Kardashian probably disposed of the knife and most of OJs bloody clothing.
The blood soaked socks were found by the LAPD and were used as evidence in the trial. The issue with those was that the defense accused the police of planting them and they made a pretty decent case that they might have.
I have no doubt OJ committed the murders, but I do think it is quite possible that police did plant or tamper with some evidence to try to help the case,

Cosby was targeting white women, because he hated white people.

John F. Kennedy’s mistress, Mary Meyer was murdered on the C&O Canal towpath in Georgetown, DC in 1964. The police had a very strong case against Ray Crump but an all-Black DC jury let him walk. How many times has such things happened?

YES! The biggest act of karma, he went to jail ANYWAY and for a very very long time! I mean to commit armed robbery of all things! How insane is THAT? It’s like some outer force made him do it, he HAD to know there was no way he would get away with it, he didn’t disguise himself, he just walked in on this sports dealer and robbed him, crazy! I think he got 39 years for that ! That is amazing how things work out, I really wonder if there is such a thing as karma. A guy I use to work with in the 1990s was scammed out of pretty much all his money in a bad business deal and he ended up winning the lottery a year later, something like a few million. It’s like the universe balances out the effects of good and evil.

Lived in the LA area at the time. I figure that Simpson went to murder Nicole and Goldman was just collateral damage. I doubt he knew that Goldman would be there. Bad timing as Goldman had just arrived to give Nicole her mother’s glasses, left on the dining table after dinner, at the restaurant where Goldman had worked. And FYI, there was one juror who the others perceived would hang the jury, Francine somebody (sorry, too many years so cannot remember the name). Some of the other jurors made up a story that she had been saying she wanted to write a book about her experience on the jury. They took that story to Ito and, of course, Ito booted the only juror who cared about the murders. It was a sad day in the country when most of us realized that Simpson had gotten away with murder. And yes, I also feel that most of those who helped Simpson in his travesty, have deservedly suffered greatly for subverting justice.

We were all green, race had no role in how we did our jobs.
That statement brings up some crazy memories. I was a platoon sergeant who was also the EO NCO, with a black EO officer. No big problems until one day a black private wanted to talk to the officer. I asked the private what the problem was, and he gave me a sneer and said that I would not understand, it was a black thing. Before I even registered a thought on it, my arm acted all on its own, I had put him against the wall and sneered right back, "well this is a green thing and you will never talk to me like that." I never had another problem with any of our young privates, of any color, after that.

I was just so relieved that they didn't screw us over again.
So did Gooding assume OJ got screwed when he was given 30+ years for kidnapping, robbery and weapons charges?

For what it's worth. I don't think Nicole and Ron felt anything beyond the initial stabbing. When I was attacked, I felt the first stab/blow in the back, but after that my body kind of shut down/went into shock. I never felt the slashes and cuts to other parts of my body.
When I was aroused enough from the shock I looked down and wondered where all the blood came from. Strangely enough I was at peace and was ready to die.

I have tried to stop thinking about this bloody incident but i didn't know that a Kardashian was involved in it.
I would never watch a movie or documentary about it.

I was in a shopping mall in Washington D.C. when the verdict was announced. I just remember everything being eerily quiet and that not a single black person I saw would look me in the eye.

I have not been personally assaulted like you were, but I cannot under any circumstance imagine that the horrendous evisceration either of the two endured to be anywhere remotely justified by “finally, one for us, the black man” as this Mr. Gooding suggests as a piss assed excuse.
It is disgusting, and there is no amount of explanation from him that would ameliorate that fact all these years later simply because he’s trying to hype some TV drama.

Strangely enough I was at peace and was ready to die. I was in a fire when I was in my teens. As billows of black smoke came into my room (it was 6AM) I became very calm and said to myself "so this is how I'm going to die".
Very eerie for sure.

I remember seeing TV spots of groups of black college students having a Verdict Party viewing the verdict real time. They were CELEBRATING!

I had put him against the wall and sneered right back, "well this is a green thing and you will never talk to me like that." If you did that today you'd get 10 years at the Disciplinary Barracks.

"I was just so relieved that they didn't screw us over again.WOW - I thought Gooding was more mature than this. But, it's a good example of what the media push to sell racism has done to America and how Obama can hold sway with so many blacks even though he's dumping on them daily.
It seems the Gooding was saying it is basically OK (with him) to do some killing of good white people in L.A. to make up for what bad white people did in Mississippi.
