didn't apple just have over $1BILLION evaporate?

I didn't sell my shares, so I didn't lose any money at all. Did you?

Price/Earnings is insanely low right now.

. . . they only have a high cut of the profits because their stuff is overpriced.

I love it when a naysayer who doesn't use Apple comes up with these kind of "bunk" claims and then makes a totally specious claim such as your "overpriced" BS.

So, if Apple hardware is "overpriced," pray tell, Cementjungke, who is holding a gun to the heads all those Apple buyers forcing them to buy these overpriced products? Or are you one of those Liberals who do not believe in the power of the free market? Do you REALLY believe that Apple was capable of selling over 1.2 BILLION iOS devices because they bamboozled all those buyers into thinking they were better than anything else out there? If you think that is true, you are totally delusional.

No, Cementjungle, a product is worth what a willing buyer and a wiling selling agree it is worth. Apple has established the value and the price of its iPhones by selling them to over 800 million willing buyers. Since YOU have not bought one, you are unqualified to even talk about the price as being "overpriced" because you literally don't have a clue, and you are unwilling to buy at the price these ~800 million have set as a value and price. All they have to do to avoid that is not buy Apple products. Easy.

No other company on the face of the earth has been able to sell their single products to that extent. Google's Android OS has to have almost 500 companies to help it reach that kind of number. . . and it still isn't making much of a profit for Google or even Google's partners. In fact, Google makes MORE off of Apple's iOS devices than than it does from Android. Apple is competing against ALL of those 500 and takes 94% of the profit. . . yet most of them, competing on price are in a race to the bottom, take home zero or less. Are you so dense you can't see the error in doing that?

Nothing good ever happens when you put a faggot in charge of a multibillion dollar company.

Most of this article is true, the problem is the stock is in freefall and no faggot is going to reverse that trend.

It will bottom out mid 2018,and if a non faggot is put in charge and they build products here instead of in China, it will start going up again.

Look, I’m not the one here posting lying Apple propaganda. It’s not my job to refute patently false claims. It’s YOUR responsibility to disprove proven financials from proven companies like Samsung, Microsoft, Lenovo, and all the others making profits on tablets, watches, and phones for 2015 and 2016.

No, it isn't my responsibility to disprove their financials. You claim this is lying propaganda. You are making the assertion of it being propaganda, not me. If you make the assertion, you need to prove it. I have not made any assertions at all about the financials you list. The article has. You claim they are. I suggest you post your proof and refute the article, not demand that I support it.

No you again attack me for what I have repeatedly told you is NOT TRUE. . . LIAR. Cut it out. Stop lying. Try it, it is easy to do, try it, you don't have to come on to Apple threads and be an asshat. Just ignore them. You don't have a clue and you don't provide ANY evidence for your claims. . . you just make drive by assertions with no proof.

Now. Exactly WHAT tablet has Microsoft made a profit on . . . not what hybrid device, what TABLET? What WATCH has Microsoft made a profit on? Show it to us? Does Lenovo have a watch? Samsung does. . . but what about profits? Can you break out their profits and show them to us? Or are you blowing smoke out of your rear oriface? You really don't know, do you? No, you pulled your challenge out of your rear with NO EVIDENCE!

Why should anyone take you seriously, Up Yours Marxist? Your only purpose here is to through bric-a-bats and toss insults. When you have some contrary evidence to the posted article, which, incidentally DOES have evidence in it, but which YOU CAN NOT BE BOTHERED TO READ, because you are an anti-Apple hating bigot, who has no open mind, post it.

They are building the iMac and the Mac Pro in the US. Try to learn some facts before you post. Are there any other amor companies building their computers in the USA? ? ?

Slinging more mud this way? Again, your article’s a bunch of lying propaganda fluff. Takes 2 minutes to disprove it’s slanted nonsense. Apple’s in deep trouble right now. Between sagging sales, the Chinese recession, and mobile providers dropping subsidies, they’ve got all their eggs in the WRONG basket. When you add the sheer incompetence at the board level, it doesn’t take a genius to read the tea leaves. Even Samsung’s shifting away from the market and moving into semiconductors to take up the slack.

Investors aren’t stupid. Neither are stock traders. Your cheerleading ain’t helping people here. You might want to put your pompoms away long enough to call a spade a spade and promote some healthy discussion on the pending disaster coming to this faggot-loving, lopsided, cult-ridden company. Somehow I doubt you can do that, considering where your paycheck comes from.

Cook is not good for Apple.

Americans are tired of homosexuals 24/7.

I have 5 IPhones and three Ipads, but like my Kindle HD 8.9 better, although my mother’s iPad mini is excellent as well.

Now that it’s time to upgrade phones, I will be looking elsewhere, not supporting the fags.

Since you ignorantly couldn't be bothered to read the article, and you maintain these other companies are making a profit, you obviously didn't bother to notice the chart which displaying the data THEY provided, did you? No, of course you didn't. You prefer to remain ignorant. . . which is stupid. That describes you to a "T":

Source: Canaccord Genuity

Wow! You did include smartphones in your delusional diatribe. . . and would you look at that, Microsoft, Samsung, and Lenovo are all listed. Oh, look, the only one of those showing a profit in phones is Samsung. Which I have been reporting all along. Microsoft in 2014 was way below ZERO. Oh, my. . . What you demanded was already provided for you. . . but you were too cowardly to look. What are you afraid of?

Nice try, no banana.

Please post your proof of "sagging sales." Numbers only will do, Up Yours Marxists. Other wise, admit you are lying as usual. PROOF. That means links to evidence. Not mere claims. T-Mobile has never had subsidies and it has PLENTY of iPhone subscribers.

I can show you that dropping subsidies means diddly and squat. How will it impact Apple any more than it will impact any other high-end smartphone maker? Samsung is in deep doo-doo now and is loosing far more than any other. They had to lower prices to move their newer smartphones. Apple has not had to do that at all.

Apple's product demand seems to be going along fine.

You said TWO MINUTES. Show the drop in demand for Apple products. Two minutes. You made your assertion, now prove it.

Real world iPhone 6s adoption data contradicts Apple supplier channel check rumors

The product mix of iPhone models in Apple's real world installed base of users shows smooth adoption of iPhone 6s models and no evidence of a decline in demand that would require unexpected production cuts. This publicly available data severely undercuts the supply chain rumors supporting a narrative of "Peak iPhone" and reactionary order slashing.

Data reported by Boston-based mobile marketing firm Fiksu, which tracks usage analytics among the most popular 50 mobile apps including Facebook and Twitter (as noted by reader Jim Neil via Twitter), shows that iPhone 6s and 6s Plus have ramped up to account for more than 13 percent of the iPhone installed base within the first 100 days since their release. . .

More than 13%. That's 13% of 800 million iPhones. 104 million iPhone 6s and 6s plus in 100 days is hardly lack of demand.

I have an original Kindle -- had it for 4 years now and very very pleased with it. It's super value for money.

But you must realise that the Kindle, and other Amazon products are sold at zero profit or at loss since the aim is for you to use it to buy more books, movies etc. from Amazon -- basically as tools for Amazon to sell more :) -- and I do buy a lot from Amazon.

So, a different model from Apple.

I got one — it’s worth it. Very expensive, but lives up to the hype

I think Swordmaker works and has investments with Apple. That doesn’t mean his articles are not interesting to read — I’m not an Apple fanboy, but they do have good products (just that I don’t buy any of them :)

Actually the cheapest way to get to a desktop and a Mac is to buy a used one through OWC (MacSales), as long as you do not mind running an older OS. I use 10.68 (Snow Leopard) and it does everything I need. They are also the best place to order memory, drives, and other stuff - very good company.

A dividend bit north of $2 a year does indeed look better after the share price plummets 20%, if that’s what you mean.

“Which products would not? Every cellular phone is made in China.”

I wasn’t sure there...the article was about Apple and they have their huge plant, so yes, it would be a good time for everyone to upgrade if Trump looked to be winning.

Well one does need at least several blocks to make the dividend worth it. I’m thinking, if it goes much lower, of getting an other block. Just wish I’d not bought into the doom and gloom years ago and bought more at $8 per.

What Apple consistently does is produce a better next-gen than others do (or care to do, or are able to do), so little nuisances like a different power cord isn't of any concern. As a poor guy, those practices always put me off, but no company (with the possible exception of Ford and big food companies) ever got rich selling to poor guys.

Each time Apple has moved into a different product area they've gone their own way; the iPod wasn't the first portable digital music player (the Mac guys I know in real life all were using the SanDisk player before that time), but it is the best there is, and that product line has a spectrum of different models. The success of the iPod led to massive market penetration and awareness among people who'd never considered an Apple product.

Now there's a continuum from the iPods, through the iPhone (again, not the first smart phone, just the most successful), into iPads, into Mac notebook computers, into desktop CPUs. The iTunes platform exists across the lines, and is also present in AppleTV, which is often predicted to be the next big thing for Apple. The Apple Watch is a high-markup solution in search of a problem IMHO, but its eventual stagnation (or outright failure) isn't going to do anything bad to the company. If an Apple car actually emerges, I'll be surprised. Building a successful passenger vehicle is no joke, and trying to do it more often than not leads to a realization that one hadn't known what an ass-kicking really is.
