Police have charged two men in relation to the incident on 10th Avenue S.W. which sent a 38-year-old man to hospital with serious injuries to his torso.

Spencer Wallace is a bouncer at the bar and was standing mere feet away from the gunman.

"Out of nowhere, we had a little bit of a break in people coming in and I'm standing right by the front door. If I'd been standing two feet in front of where I was standing, I could have been shot, I could have been killed today," said Wallace.

"I turned and I see the guy catch it right in the chest. He drops." Ten X shooting

According to Wallace, one shot entered the bar and the shooter squeezed off two more while wrestling with front door staff, but police say several shots were fired into the club.

"Two bouncers that work out front, I'm not going to name them, but they grabbed this guy immediately," he said. "They pounced on him. Those guys are heroes and they deserve nothing but praise, they stopped this from being so much worse." Quick police response

Police from the gang suppression unit happened to be across the street from the bar at the time of the shooting and were quickly on scene, taking the shooter and an accomplice into custody.

"A passenger in the vehicle attempted to assist the shooter and was able to leave the scene before police arrived. His identity and whereabouts are unknown," according to police.

A third person in the car was arrested along with the shooter and has been charged.

Mohamed Elmi, 31, and Mohamed Salad, 29, both of Calgary, each face the following charges:

I’ve been one of the most patient conservatives I know on the issue of muslims being here.

no more I said, but the 3 million that are here are citizens now.

no. they have to go. they are enemies of the state.

women, children, I don’t care.

muslims have shown that women and children can kill too, and well

we’re not killing them or sending them to camps. just back to their home country. let them fix it over there.

I don’t care if we give em five or ten grand each to start over if that makes liberals feel better, the 30 billion would be best money ever spent.

but they have to go.

Sterilize all islam followers and put them in prison. They are not to be trusted in modern society.

I love the sterilization part. but don’t want to spend the prison money making private prisons that much wealthier.

death sentences for many more crimes than justify its use now.

We are going to have to have a Muslim cleansing. All of them. No exceptions.

Darn I read your post. I was going out on a limb and guessing they were named Mohamed, each. Like the rape the other day: all three were named Mohamed. I’m seeing a pattern.

he didn’t really say all guns, did he? not that it would surprise me.

most of us on this board are no in our roaring 20s anymore.

However, from what I can see, the group currently in their roaring 20s are idiots and we are once again called on in what should be the more laid back part of our lives, to save the republic.

i’m 47, maybe on the younger side of the board (which is why I never know the answers to most questions here and get phenomenal answers from people that have been around the world and politics and science) and I must take an active part is making sure Trump or Cruz is our next president.

the more embarrassing part is the people in their seventies and eighties who do more before 10am than I do in a whole dy!! :(

You are correct - he didn't say "all guns" but we know that is his (and others') intentions.

As far as age, 47 is in the area where enough living has been done to have a good sense of things. I'm 63 and while experiences tend to guide the conscience and sub-conscience (while making one's skin thicker and making one's expression of thoughts and opinions more blunt), it don't make one a genius though.....dammit.

Staying busy is good, moving keeps things from drying up and clogging - life requires some sort of motion.

except self pity, which is NOT and NEVER has been a conservative value.

i’ll going walking after I shower. i work overnight.

Long term pain can drain anyone. I try to exercise at least 3 days a week even when my hips tell me to just give it up. I find that getting the first step in is always the hardest and I always feel better when I force myself to take the action.

Prayers up for you.
