My beloved Browns are going to have a logo on their helmet next year. First time in team history.

if the flashing lights and ringing bells in the casino don’t give him any problem, he’s probably ok and will have a full recovery as soon as the season is over.

At least he still knows where to find a good party.

The Browns may not be sure who should comment, since owner Haslam just fired the coach and general manager. My guess is, Manziel may as well stay in Vegas.

How’s he doing as a quarterback? I’ve read that he was considered potentially one of the greats but I haven’t heard how he actually plays on the field.

Rumors here in CLE:

1. Johnny was not in the concussion protocol. He showed up at a meeting “inebriated” and was sent home.

2. Johnny did not answer his phone when the Browns tried to contact him regarding the Vegas trip.

3. Johnny’s trip was an intentional move to ensure he gets out of Cleveland.

All rumors, but the press are asking about them and radio hosts are giving them air time.

Meanwhile we fired our coach and GM. Just internally promoted our lawyer salary cap guy to have final say on all personnel decisions (including the draft) and are pursuing our new head coach BEFORE pursuing a new GM.

The Browns fired their Coach and General Manager. Who is left to comment about Manziel? The Browns have a history of drafting overrated Quarterbacks late in the first round. Sure Brady Quinn and Johnny were relieved to get out of the Green room. Neither were very talented. The Browns are a sorry franchise.

The report said he ate at a restaurant in the casino and sat down at a blackjack table. It was not clear if the team has a policy prohibiting players from traveling when they are out with an injury.

Even if the team has no policy prohibiting injured players from traveling, given his recent history, hanging out in a casino in Las Vegas is not a good environment for Manziel to be in. He should have just stayed home and kept a low profile.

All Manziel (and everyone involved with him) needs to deal with is a gambling jones. Hypothetically, if he did have this weakness, and he had his other proclivities, he would be an interstellar flameout. Or, improbably, a beacon of redemption.

Reading down the thread - did they think he had a concussion because he was slurring his speech and had glassy eyes? Or did he have a headache the next morning after celebrating a loss?
