I’m working on my 57 Bel Air this morning (fuel pump, brrrr it’s cold). I have a loooong way to go to get to show quality like in the pics. Just taking out the battery tray to get to the pump can be a project on these old cars (rusted bolts), but at least I can repair everything myself for cheap compared to the new cars.
Thanks for posting this thread! Some awesome stuff there! My favorite was the early to mid 30’s. There were some beautiful cars made then. Thanks for the walk down memory lane! I remember really being upset when Hot Rod magazine raised the price per issue to a quarter(!). I didn’t realize how good I had it back then ;- )
