Ted Cruz:" No Interest" In Being Trump's VP
MoFo Politics ^ | 12/17/2015 | Via Aam Carolla

Dec. 17, 2015

Via Adam Carolla.

On whether Cruz would serve as Trump's VP:

Adam Carolla: They're talking a lot about you and Trump, and possibly vice presidency, has there been any discussion of that?

TC: Uh, none whatsoever. And I have no interest whatsoever.

On whether Cruz would pick Trump as VP:

AC: You don't want him to be your vice president??

TC: You know, it is difficult to see Donald Trump serving as anybody's vice president.

The Democrats will be freaking out as their internal polls show NY, NJ, PA, and CT slipping away from them. If Trump carries NY and a few other “safe” blue states it’s game over no matter what happens elsewhere.

I don't think the two would be a comfortable pairing-up personality-wise...yikes, I don't even want to think (or dream) about it, lol.

What bothers me is when people like dragnet2 come up with spurious connections between Cruz and the Bush

Then you won't mind quoting these untrue or inaccurate comments I allegedly made regarding the Bush/Cruz relationship.

Thanks!

Or even better still...president of the United States. Which is why he'll stay in the Senate, or maybe run for governor.

If Cruz is elected President, he'd probably pick someone like Mike Lee for a SC judge, so a double win. I can't imagine Trump's picks for judges. *shiver*

Had it been your responsibility to carry out that job, what would you have done?

That’s why hardly nobody drops out. Basically the four who did in the GOP primary were low o money and realized they were done. But there are a thousand excuses for staying in.

I really don’t think so.

What has kept Carson in the process is contributions, which are fading fast. He is sending out beg letters at a feverish pace (I received 4 of them in the past week) and will likely burn up what cash he has left quickly.

When Carson drops out, it will become undeniably apparent that only Cruz is significantly benefiting from the drop-outs.

Cruz is also nibbling at Rubio’s constituency and will quickly establish his dominance of the race.

I expect Cruz to reach statistical majority (something nobody has come close to yet) in a short time.

Exactly. When the race is long over and one of them is asked he will jump at the chance. They would rather help than be on the sidelines.

Olsen is a figurehead lawyer.

Cruz did all of the research and prepared the entirety of what Olsen delivered.

Cruz won’t get much of Rubio’s following.
Nor will Trump.
Those are open borders voters.

The rest cannot remain behind him much longer; he has tipped his hand completely.

It is your innuendo. You are implying that there is some
kind of a connection between Cruz and the Bush clan
currently because they had connections in the past.

I believe your post #20 describes “deep close connections
and associations with the Bush dynasty”. Just what is the
current status of the Bush/Cruz relationship? The world
is dieing to know. You may have yourself a game changer
or you might be tossing mud against the wall ala Harry
Reid in which case you should probably STFU about it.

I have no idea. But I can assure you if for example Trump and his wife had been closely politically associated, employed/appointed by and had a close working relationships with the Bush dynasty, it would be a big game changer for me.

Have you been around long? What election marked your
first trip to the polls? Are you aware that people who
want to get into politics often go to work for established
politicians who may not share their exact ideology?
Are you aware that MANY people were surprised to learn
that GW wasn’t quite the conservative that many thought
he would be? Do you know that Don Trump and the Clintons
share some of the same friends? Have you examined a list
of past Trump associates? Do you know who served as
Ronald Reagan’s VP? What did you find under the
Christmas tree this morning, dragnet2?

How long have I been around? What gifts did I receive? Reagan?

You continue attempting to make Bush’s relationship with Mr. and Mrs. Cruz about me or Trump. As if I had something to do with it. I can assure you I had nothing to do with it.

Btw Sivad, Trump was never in office or part of the corrupt government of elected officials which put the country into a steep decline, all but destroying Middle America.

You seem to be defining the tagline below quite well.

You are the one who keeps making the Bush relationship
with Cruz about you! You can’t answer simple questions.

Then why is Trump’s close relationship, and similar politics with the Clinton crime family not a big game changer for you?

Thinking people do want to know.

BTW, Cruz’ only connection with Bush was expert legal representation in his battle to claim his legitimate election victory from Sore Looserman in the 2000 election.
