I have to say that if this is true, it’s a classy move.
He has aged badly
Meh. People age differently. He's a year older now (64), than Alec Guinness was (63) in the first movie.
He's a lib, out-and-out, but this is a class move on his part. Good on him.
Not as bad as Carrie Fisher.
Agreed, this is a classy move.
64 is pretty old to be truthful ... and I’m 60 ... yikes !
Even if they're liberal, not all actors are jerks.
It’s the sort of thing he has done all of his career.
-—He aged badly-—
You would too if Darth Vader was your father...: )
His appearance took a dramatic turn for the worse between the first film and the second.
It was surprising to see how different his face looked when seeing Empire Strikes Back at the theater.
My guess was that he had gotten into smoking crack — it has that effect of making the facial muscles crater and collapse.
Or it could just have been alcohol, or insomnia or something else.
Didn’t realize he was that old.Guess he looks pretty good then
Good for her!
Is she rorm Kentucky?
He has always been a decent guy from interviews I’ve read.
(Somewhere on this board I thought I read a story about one of the Freeper’s aunts had picked him up hitch-hiking before he became a big star).... just an ordinary guy.
NOT IT’S NOT OLD! Not these days! Of course, I’m saying that because I turn 60 next week, but honestly...60 is not that old these days.
Shame on you! He was in a serious car accident between the first and second movie, and his face has to be reconstructed, literally. He never took drugs.
He looked different in Empire because he’d been in a major car accident which disfigured him...hence the scene at the beginning of Empire where he is attacked by the snow creature.
“Didnât realize he was that old.Guess he looks pretty good then”
Also, considering that accident he had between episodes 4 and 5, he looks great. http://www.businessinsider.com/the-empire-strikes-back-mark-hamill-face-2015-10
Thank you, thank you. I did not know.
Born and raised in Louisville.
