Captured? Like in a net or a bear trap?

I know for a fact that unidentified objects are real. It’s a damn shame they remain unidentified.;-)

I have actually seen swamp gas (
the Cogdell Light). Quite exciting.
I think the gas is ignited by the heat of an automobile tailpipe.
When I drove away, the light followed my car.

Dammit. That was my ride home finally. Now I gotta reschedule. And warp traffic is horrible this time of year.

Have you been peeking into my bathroom? I learned long ago not to smoke while sitting in the can.

I have seen swamp gas and it wasn’t ignited by automobile exhaust. It was a glowing ball of light that bounced from about 3 feet off the ground to maybe 20 ft in the air. Then it disappeared into the trees.

The reason I posited the tailpipe scenario is because it followed my car.
That said, once ignited, it doesn't have to follow a car, it drift wherever there is more methane.
