Just one question - what is the average MPG for a plane versus a car?

Depends on the airplane. Example for you. My Cessna 172 uses 7.25 gallons per hour and travels without considering winds aloft 120 mph+/-. I have 38 gallons of usable fuel on board. I have calculated my flight time from AR to FL in both car and plane. The pane is better milage and obviously faster.

what is the average MPG for a plane versus a car? From my Cessna 172 days, about 17.5 mpg - maybe 140 cruise speed at 8 gph. YMMV.
YMMV - get it?
I'll go away now.

He needs to stick to movies. That’s what he knows.

Great actor, but has fallen into the mentality of the other hollywierd types. Should make moves and shut up about the climate.

Careful now. He may shave his chest again to show his support for saving the rain forest. That’ll show ‘em.

I’m trying hard to ignore these pinheads long enough to enjoy, hopefully, the new Star Wars film. Mr Ford is exceptionally hard to ignore, with that stupid smug expression, and inane comments.

Those old airplane engines burn leaded aviation gas too, further polluting the environment.

"The very instruments utilized to record and distribute his films were crafted from fossil fuels. Every production he's ever been a part of depended upon carbon-producing energy. The dollars spent to purchase tickets to his films were earned through carbon-producing activity. The world runs on energy."As it is for all you tree-hugging pukes and for that matter, the rest of us. The conflict stems from the fact that we know our use of energy isn't hurting much, if anything.

Men shave their chests for a specific reason.
That reason likely involves coprophagia.

His old stuff will be horrible on fuel, but the newer aircraft can be quite economical. The R-22 IIRC translated to about 30+ MPG.
