Sarah Palin isn't shy about her least-favorite candidates in the 2016 field.
Florida Sen. Marco Rubio? "Robotic."
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie? "Embraced Obama."
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush? "George."
Hillary Clinton? "Nyquil."
And President Barack Obama himself? "Warned ya."
Palin delivered the answers to CNN's Jake Tapper as the two played a word-association game Monday night at a "Politics on Tap" event at the Double Barrel Roadhouse in Las Vegas. It came the night before the fifth GOP presidential debate of the 2016 campaign.
Palin's comments reflect what much of the GOP's conservative base think of Jeb Bush â that he's too much like his brother and father, both former presidents. And she showed conservatives still haven't forgiven Christie for hugging Obama in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, just before the 2012 election.
She did have a compliment for former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley, the low-polling Democratic candidate whose looks have drawn attention on social media.
Her take on O'Malley? "Biceps."
Here are a few more highlights from their 25-minute conversation:
1. Palin loves Ted Cruz and Donald Trump.
She doesn't plan to endorse any time soon. And, in a nod to her history of backing candidates who didn't win, she joked that the presidential hopefuls wouldn't want her backing, anyway.
"Not if theyâre smart!" she said.
But Palin wasn't shy about saying her two favorite candidates in the 2016 GOP race are Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Donald Trump.

Sarah Palin is recommending both Ted Cruz and Donald Trump.
Good recommendation. :D
Good judgement, as usual, Sarah. They’re my favorites also.
Actually they’re the only two acceptable to me.
She’s gotta pick ONE!
One of these two must be our nominee.
how nice of them to remind us of the lie that palin backed candidates failing, but never about the candidates obama backed
Not yet.
Lets get the media to figure it out first.
I love watching them squirm.
A dead clock is right twice a day.
The Dream Ticket: Trump/Cruz
I want Cruz in the Executive Branch for 16 years!
If Rubio goes down, then it will boil down to those two.
I sense there’s been an attempt to start a war between Trump and Cruz in recent days. If they fight, that gives Rubio a chance.
The longer they're both viable, the more likely the others will fall by the wayside. Soon enough to pick one when only those two are left...

I think you are right; instigating a fignt between the two seems to be the “establishment’s” current plan.
Can’t leave GOPe any options.
It avoids any heat, criticism and brickbats.....and doubles the love and admiration.
To me, that's not leadership.
Make the hard choice and then get to work supporting your choice.

I don’t know.
Both Trump and Cruz have been very circumspect this far, about each other.
As long as the two of them are not locking horns, I think the best approach is for us, their supporters also to not lock horns, and to not criticize the other.
I am for Trump. Make no question about who I am for. But I think as long as our candidates are getting along well, so also should we.
This is just my opinion mind you. But it is my opinion.
Trump was speaking at a rally, not an interview so there is no reason to believe that Trump had any more to his thought than what he said, or that he was speaking in broad terms about the immigration system.
This isn't a game of spin the bottle for kisses, it's high stakes, big league hardball.Any love-in you perceive between Cruz and Trump is only surface. As the pool of candidates dwindles, it's going to be more-and-more every man for himself.....and it should be.
I will lock horns respectfully with anyone attacking my candidate and I expect my candidate to do the same to his rivals with what works for him.
This "can't we all get along" crap is not for me. If one's candidate doesn't go for the gold in this primary with no legitimate holds barred, there's no presidential general election for him, period.
The word "circumspect" is not in my lexicon in a primary....and I will not treat any of my candidate's political adversaries with kid gloves just to "get along well".
I have the courage of my convictions and will used the mailed fist inside my courteous velvet gloves against any of the trolls, nasties and paid hacks I happen to spot on this board.
The play-it-safe "Trump/Cruz, Cruz/Trump, either-way" promoters are USELESS, wimpish.....and give me a pain.
Pick your presidential candidate whoever he may be...and get to work for him and him alone...or continue to sit on the fence waggin' your tongue and howlin' at the moon.
There will be only one winner...and time is running out.

= :^)
They both want the same voting block so they are going to tease the issues until someone gains traction (well until Cruz gains and Trump loses to Cruz...or Cruz slips and Trump endures).
They are playing a delicate game and both are incredibly good at it...however much they have completely different styles.
Cruz is erudite...Trump is Queens folksy.
We don't have to worry, the best man will win.
