Dashcam video: Police return shopping carts in hilarious fashion

Who says police can’t have a little fun. In 2013, two Slidell police officers decided to help out a business by collecting and bringing back runaway shopping carts. The average cost of a shopping cart ranges from $85-$250 a cart.

The video produced and posted to the department’s official Facebook page Monday night is nothing short of amazing and it’s totally hilarious.

So far it has been shared over 1,711 times.

Did you notice the carts were plastic? In high crime areas they use plastic carts because they know if they have metal carts people will steal them and break them down just for the metal.
