After a proposal by Donald Trump to ban all Muslims from entering the United States, Dr. Ben Carson told CNN's Jake Tapper such a move would be prejudiced and would alienate Muslims.

It’s funny, the Obama people are trying to argue that it’s illegal for the states to reject muslim “refugees” because immigration policy is reserved for the federal government (except in such cases as they have not established a policy, then per the courts the individual states may weigh in). Yet now we see some saying that the policy MUST allow certain people in so it’s not even up to the federal government to decide who. There is, apparently, “no controlling legal authority”.

1. A temporary halt on any Muslim immigration to the country

2. A permanent halt any Muslim immigrant ( non citizen ) owning a gun in this country

5. A permanent halt to illegal immigration to this country

6. A permanent halt to any illegal immigrant owning a gun in this country

It's no more unconstitutional than was our banning Nazis from coming to the US after our war with Germany ended.

We made some exceptions for cases where we felt that certain Nazi scientists and some others would be good to bring to the US for our future national security, but those were definitely exceptions to the rule.

(f) Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by President
Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate

This is usually the rallying cry from Leftists who contend we are all Leftists and agree with all Leftist positions. Lately it is coming from Republicans (not necessarily Conservatives) who want to be liked and to stay relevant with the MSM. Ben Carson is a good man, but recently a Democrat, who is not Presidential material.....but would be a great Surgeon General. “Who we are’ is spelled out in the Constitution. Unfortunately it is not a document that has been followed by this Admin. So ‘who we are’ to Leftists, is not really who we are. Someone needs to remind them.
