I usually buy it once per month - it lasts a long time in the fridge, and we use it a lot for low-carb cooking. But there are times when there is none left, when I get to the store.
Especially now, folks are probably buying it up for Egg Nog :-)

Yep.
One year I actually had a female (not a lady!) throw a packet of TP at me because I took the last pint of whipping cream.
I am planing on going out shopping next Monday in the hopes of not having to venture out into the madhouse until after December 27th.
