Russia has banned a pro-democracy charity founded by hedge fund billionaire George Soros, saying the organization posed a threat to both state security and the Russian constitution.
In a statement released Monday morning, Russia's General Prosecutor's Office said two branches of Soros' charity network — the Open Society Foundations (OSF) and the Open Society Institute (OSI) — would be placed on a "stop list" of foreign non-governmental organizations whose activities have been deemed "undesirable" by the Russian state.
"It was found that the activity of the Open Society Foundations and the Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation represents a threat to the foundations of the constitutional system of the Russian Federation and the security of the state," a translated version of the press statement read.

Soros should be in prison, at least.
Putin’s a sharp cookie. Our current _resident is no match for him. I wish we could ban Soros’s charities as well...they certainly are a security treat as we well know!

Obama has bent over backwards strengthening Russia’s defenses with his missile defense and (NewSTART) nuke deals, all the while weakening our own defenses. Russia has never had a better friend in the White House than him.
Can we ban these George Soros “Charities” here in the US as well?
It would deprive Herself of at least 50% of her funding for this presidential run.
But as far as moving to Russia, well, their thugs are a little more honest than our thugs.

Apparently Captain Obvious has gained employment in Russia, after being fired and banned, by CNBC and the rest of the Main Stream Enemedia here in America.
A year in Siberia might do Soros some good.
