I always liked the Detomaso Pantera.

The BMW 8 series is rumored to be in development for revival, possibly as a 9.
Out of my bracket, but I’d love to take a spin.

I like the twin-turbo V6 Jag, though it’s a shame they didn’t make the V12 as originally conceived. Was out of my price range when new, and remains so now, LOL.

I remember the Pantera. The roof was as high as an average mans belt buckle.

Panteras are pretty hot right now in the collector car market.

Stupid list. Only a few of those cars are “forgotten”. The NSX is a legend, as is the Pantera. Maybe my mom forgot them, but I doubt she knows what a Pacer is either.

I was watching the new Jay Leno show “jay Lenos Garage”. He was shown a concept car that did not get produced. It was a Pontiac Firebird, 69 or 70, I think. Anyway the front end looked like a Shelby Cobra. Under the hood was a 12 cylinder Ferrari engine. It was a sharp car.

#6 Arguably the best all around exotic ever produced.
#8 Love the look even though they have an unfinished kit car kind of appearance.
#9 Tons of fun. Very unforgiving oversteer. Ask me how I know.
To: MtnClimber
They're missing a number of fine TVRs that should have easily qualified for the list.

Several of those may be “exotics”, but hardly “supercars”.
To: MtnClimber

1961 Pontiac Catalina may not have been a Super Car, but I love it and I will never see another for $400 that runs.
(I was soooo stupid to sell that car)
