Government involvement in Health is the problem. As long as government is paying the bill, it has control of decision making. Whether dying, or birth control or education. Whoever controls the money controls the decisions.
If it must be government, let it be local government. Then people can vote with their feet.

Ben Carson has a truth problem. He wouldn’t know truth if it bit him in the ass. He is also finished. Trump wiped him off the map!!
If this gets aired to the public, Carson is likely doomed. The reason for discussing it among medical people, is to shorten the lives of the elderly or they wouldn’t be discussing it - they would leave it alone which means saving a person’s life no matter how old he/she is.
Never sign a Living Will when the hospital wants you to sign it. That gives them the power to turn off life saving equipment or not to turn it on, period.
When my husband had cancer, I had his Medical Power of Attorney. I had him in five hospitals and every one of them asked about his signing a Living Will. I told them every time that a Living Will was a Death Will, then I handed them a copy of the Medical Power of Attorney and they shut up and didn’t bring it up again.
I was the only one who could stop living saving on him and he had told me not to let them kill him unless I was positive his brain was dead. I promised that and carried out that promise.

I cannot believe a Doctor who took an oath would say something like this...this is very disturbing and I sure don’t want him running any Country I live in....

He appears so caring and many good Christian people have been taken in by him—these quotes portray an altogether different mindset and a disregard for the sanctity of life, and the value of the last days of life...When my mother was dying of cancer after a two year fight I was struck with the realization that it was HER battle. I had no right to ask God, “Why now?” “Let her stay”, or even “Take her quickly”. The walk toward the “valley of the shadow of death” was hers, not mine, and not any physician’s. It was the most difficult yet the most sacred time I’ve ever experienced. Doctor Carson speaking so callously about end of life issues shows his true character, and it’s not good.

That’s the disturbing statement. My mother is 93 years old and thanks to some surgeries over the past 10 years she is healthy and able to live in her own home, clean her house and drive her car to the grocery, church and out to lunch with friends. She is as sharp as a tack. So would good old Ben have denied her those procedures which are allowing her to live a long and happy life?
