If this gets aired to the public, Carson is likely doomed. The reason for discussing it among medical people, is to shorten the lives of the elderly or they wouldn’t be discussing it - they would leave it alone which means saving a person’s life no matter how old he/she is.
Never sign a Living Will when the hospital wants you to sign it. That gives them the power to turn off life saving equipment or not to turn it on, period.
When my husband had cancer, I had his Medical Power of Attorney. I had him in five hospitals and every one of them asked about his signing a Living Will. I told them every time that a Living Will was a Death Will, then I handed them a copy of the Medical Power of Attorney and they shut up and didn’t bring it up again.
I was the only one who could stop living saving on him and he had told me not to let them kill him unless I was positive his brain was dead. I promised that and carried out that promise.
