Ouch, it hurts just to read this. I hope Andrew is OK and that he doesn’t put his life in any further danger. He’s a smart guy, a gentleman and a scholar. I wonder why he even wants to be an NFL player.
Lacerated kidney? He’s got two, cmon get in the game.
Luck and Matt Hasselbeck the only two QBs listed on Colts’ roster. Not sure if they have practice squad QB.
Sign Tebow.
You can play with cracked ribs but, torn muscles also have torn ligaments and a lacerated kidney is extraordinarily painful.
Still, God gave you two kidneys for a reason...
He took a real beating Sunday - it was hard to watch. He’s one of the good guys in the NFL - has a ton of heart - sad he’s stuck on a loser like the Colts.
And the Colts will still win their division!
Holy cow! I hope he’s all right.
Luck out because he didn’t luck out and his luck ran out.
Dammit, b*tch! It’s called a “handy” not a “hernia”!
He plays a very physical game...usually when he runs he doesn’t slide at the end but makes them tackle him. He got thrashed doing this on Sunday.
Looks like allowing the offensive lineman to get away in free agency hasn’t worked out so well. It never does. There is a reason left tackle is the second highest paid position in the NFL.
He hasn’t seemed right all season.
Maybe they can bring in Brian Williams as the backup QB. He’s not busy at NBC right now.
Next Man Up! No excuses.
The Indianapolis Colts are down to one healthy quarterback on their 53-man roster and are in need of a backup for Matt Hasselbeck while Andrew Luck recovers from a lacerated kidney and torn abdominal muscle that will keep him off of the field for weeks. According to Pro Football Talk, Jason Campbell is on their radar.
