Investor's Business Daily ^ | 11/6/2015 | John Merline

When Fox Business News decided not to include Gov. Chris Christie or Mike Huckabee in the main Republican debate on Tuesday, several news reports blamed the latest IBD/TIPP Poll, which Fox used along with three other polls to determine who made the cut.

I've been loosely watching this for years, and my thought was that they'd never responded.

I'd never noticed until you mentioned it today. That piqued my curiosity, so I took a look at IBD's posting history, and lo and behold, not a single reply to any comment, for as far back as I looked.

Perhaps the boss should temporarily suspend IBD's posting privilege, just long enough to send them a freepmail message that failure to participate with the community is frowned upon. Especially when a poster does nothing but post threads that point back to their place of work.

What's amazing to me, is how long this has been going on.

It’s hard to reach someone who never reads comments.

We are merely another advertising tool.

Hence my suggestion to temporarily suspend their posting privileges. That'll get their attention.

Yep. It worked with that Canada Free Press pimp, making him post his stuff in Bloggers.

Alas, Mongo only pawn in game of Free Republic.

Now, now, you all.

There are NO replies to the comments at the site either.

The article is actually interesting.

LOL.

I happened to watch the “Morning Joe” that’s taken to task in his column. I also noted Scarborough’s factual errors.

Too bad “Morning Joe” doesn’t accept “CALL-IN FEEDBACK” from VIEWERS!

LOLOLOLOL.

Excellent Suggestion, Mongo!

Wonder if my tagline applies here?

Excellent documentation.

It may be time to listen to Mongol, aka Humblegunner.

Move IBD’s posts to the blogger site.

I went back to 2011. He was posting replies then. He stopped in 2012. Nothing since.

I think gunner has the right idea about posting in blogs.

Politico, MSNBC, Christie Slam IBD/TIPP Poll And Get Their Facts Completely Wrong

All this might matter if these debates and, for that matter, the entire Republican campaign so far, weren't as boring as aytch-eee-double toothpicks. I find it hard to believe that anyone has heard ANYTHING in ANY of these "debates" that caused him or her to stop backing the candidate he or she liked.

Did anything heard so far cause someone to start backing a candidate?

Here's a suggestion. Do something fun during the Republican "debate." If anything happens while you are away, Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity will play a clip of it, Then go watch it on youtube.

All I have seen this year that is really worth while was Cruz castigating faux journalists. It didn't change anything for me because I liked Cruz before that ever happened.

These "debates" are as boring as NFL football. I think guys like Hugh Hewitt like to push them because a REALLY split field is his only chance of getting someone like Jeb nominated. I know Hugh likes Jeb, but Jeb will never be President. Getting him nominated guarantees a Democrat in the White House by February 2017.

Cruz, Rubio, Fiorina have all experienced big bumps in the polls directly attributable to the debates.

Why does he have to reply to any post? No one is forced to reply to any post in FR. Any article he posts here is commented on and discussed by Freepers like any other article, no?

Since 2011, eh? That's almost five years since he's actually participated on this forum, yet he posts a new thread here several times a week.

If that's not blog pimping, I don't know what it is.

He doesn’t have to.

He just appears to be the most prolific site pimp, so it’s worth “scrutinating”.

It’s definitely blog pimping. It can be as many as 5 or 6 times a week. Well over a thousand editorials posted since 2012.

The real giveaway is posting just the first sentence of the editorial.

Posting guidelines allow 300 words to be posted as the standard excerpt policy for IBD.

He posts one sentence and then expects you to click on the link to see the rest.
