The assignment was not meant to mock Muhammad or insult Muslims. It simply involved drawing pictures related to various Islamic terms: Koran, Mecca, Muhammad. The banning of images of Muhammad even at this level and with this intent is kowtowing to violent intimidation, which will only encourage more of it, and accepting Sharia restrictions on the freedom of speech. Neither one bodes well for the future of the Acton-Agua Dulce Unified School District, or of the nation at large. Most political, religious, and media leaders, however, are eagerly jumping on this bandwagon, selling out our freedoms in a short-sighted and ill-considered attempt to avoid "insulting" Muslims and "poking them in the eye."

I’m still confused about this ‘hole’ drawing moo-ham-head. How in the crap do they know it’s the forbidden to draw one if there aren’t any pictures to compare to? Could it just be a drawing of Fred Mohmmmad from down the block?

Interestingly enough, Koran’s printed in medieval times did have engraved images of MoHAMmad on the inside cover/fly leaf.

The Islamic jihadists will have to take up some other excuse for slaughtering a whole bunch of people at this school.
Oh, the jihadists do not lack for excuses to just systematically eliminating any group they consider “troublesome”, which includes just about any religion other than their specific brand of Islam, or the wrong class of people, or just too many to deal with at the moment, or satiation of their base desires for the day, or just for target practice/scimitar skills.
That is just the thing. Mohammed Ali is faceless for a REASON, same as the Jason Voorhees or the Guy Falkes legends. To give him a real face is to steal his power, and with it, the capacity to dominate the endless conflict.
But what about all those boxing fans who insist that he was “the Greatest?”
