What is the vegan population? 3% maybe?

I think the percentage of "vegans" in the "more equal than other animals" population is much higher. Of course, many are vegans in name only - their "veganism" is mostly a stick with which to beat the "lesser equal animals."

Actually, I believe you were referring to this ‘WHO’ I think:

Global status report on alcohol and health 2014

“The Global status report on alcohol and health 2014 presents a comprehensive perspective on the global, regional and country consumption of alcohol, patterns of drinking, health consequences and policy responses in Member States. It represents a continuing effort by the World Health Organization (WHO) to support Member States in collecting information in order to assist them in their efforts to reduce the harmful use of alcohol, and its health and social consequences. The report was launched in Geneva on Monday 12 May 2014 during the second meeting of the global network of WHO national counterparts for implementation of the global strategy to reduce the harmful use of alcohol.”

They’re going to call the old recipe “Guinness Classic”.

It’s a product change to something used to clarify the beer and nearly all filtered out before bottling. I doubt if they didn’t do a press release about it that anyone would even notice.

I was actually thinking of asking Guinness to add more fish bladders to their brew...

Great photo. For those unacquainted, that’s a “Full Irish Breakfast”. Why on Earth would a people whose traditional starter meal looks like that worry about satisfying a tiny pack of whiny grass eaters?

Aw crap, they’re gonna ruin this now, too. I drink GES sometimes, it did a great job of washing down Pizza Hut’s old Pepperoni Lovers pizza. But now it’s over $9/6-pack. For that kind of dough, I get 2 6-packs of Labatt Ice 16 oz, out the door for $8.52. Burp!

A great way to destroy your 256 year old brand by catering to a handful of vegan moonbats.

Way to go, Guinness.

What’s wrong with black pudding? And yes, I know what it is. I had some while on vacation in Wales, and it was great.

I just don’t care for it.

Okay, what are the best Guiness alternatives?

Killians Red. Sam Adams. Singh (Thai beer).

Actually, when I visited Ireland I was disappointed in Guiness. I'd never had it before, and don't intend to drink it again.

Yeah, Coke has made some disastrous decisions over the past couple of decades.
