I just got another warning about malware on this site. https://www.stopbadware.org/firefox?hl=en-US&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.freerepublic.com%2Ffocus%2Fnews%2F3353653%2Fposts

Yes, I got it too.
Said FR was an attack site.
Netroots or their Leftist budds.

It is. It attacks liberals and enemies of America.

It is usually pictures/graphics on FR that set off the alarms.

I got it when I was trying to post this:
Anyone see Ted Koppel on The Factor tonight?
Koppel seemed shocked SHOCKED I tell you, that Jeh Johnson (head of DHS) doesn’t have a plan for a cyber attack on the electrical grid.
Duh! He is more concerned about 0bama’s political agenda than protecting the homeland.

Yes, but that is not malware. It is patriots duty to attack them.

I’m not having any issues either .. but then I have Norton - which I update on a daily basis .. and I’ve never had malware. However, I have had a small red window pop up from Norton telling me they had stopped a malware attack.
I’ve never had that appear again.

well maybe I did, AVG may have detected and I didn't notice.
We should wear it as a BADGE of honor, being such a threat and such to liberals.......
Actually they are calling us infected as in Fleas, lice, bedbugs, etc., you know sort of what Hitler said about the Jews.

Glad I’m not alone on that.
Yes, they both fear and hate US.

One ringy-dingy...
Two ringy-dingy...
(snort, snort!)
A gracious hello. Here at Free Republic, we handle eighty-four billion URL requests a year. Serving everyone from presidents and kings to the scum of the earth. So, we realize that, every so often, you can't get access to the web site, or for no apparent reason you receive a maleware alert from Google, or perhaps you get charged for using a website you didn't even use. We don't care!
Watch this... [ she hits buttons maniacally ] We just lost Peoria.
You see, this website consists of a multibillion-dollar matrix of space age technology that is so sophisticated -- [ she hits buttons with her elbows ] even we can't handle it. But that's your problem, isn't it? So, the next time you complain about your internet service, why don't you try using two Dixie cups with a string? We don't care. We don't have to. We're Free Republic.

You can disable the alarms in your browser options. See Jim’s response thread. There’s no malware at FR.
