I am Wondering who to support in the Republican primary and what in the candidates past is driving your own support
I have been looking at the candidates and wondering what past event has persuaded people to support them.
This is where I am for myself so far.
Trump has the most Charisma and hits every one of my concerns and shows he understands the problems of the country. (which ticks me off in a way that they know what is exactly wrong). The problem is I am unaware of anything he has done in the past to try and fix it.
Jeb Bush I remember when he was Governor of Florida. He did a good job and I agreed with him with fighting for Terry Schiavo.
Ted Cruz, he is another who says what you want to hear and he does have a track record. Other than supporting the freedom act, I just don’t know what it is.
Florina I only know was in business and is an unknown.
Rubio I am sure has a record of accomplishments but not sure what they are
Rand Paul, For me personally he was the only senator I saw waving from the senate building the last time I was at the march for life. And I also agreed with him on keeping the government in check with snooping.
Ben Carson is pushing on the cultural issues and has hit a chord with many people but only know of his achievements as a doctor.
I would like to know what policy or past behavior of the candidates makes you want to vote for them. Please do not start listing all the things you don’t like about the person since I am only looking for what they have done that makes you want to vote for them. Thanks

Jeb Bush did a lousy job. Couldn't be any lousier. He let them torture her to death, in spite of the fact that he, as the chief magistrate of the state of Florida, was sworn to protect her.
Easy. Ted Cruz, proven conservative. Skilled debater who can take Clinton on and prevail.

If you read around here a bit, you’ll find lots of information.
Who can go toe-to-toe with Hillary? Trump. Cruz. The rest are too “nice.”
IMHO, TEd Cruz is by far the most principled, the most dedicated to the Constitution, and has shown himself willing to stand up four square for those principles and against the Washington establishment. He has the vision for America, and he knows how to fight for that vision in Washington without becoming sullied by it.
He is my preferred GOP candidate and has my support.
However, having said that, I can support Trump if he remains on top, and believe, despite some concerns I have about his temperament, that he will do what he says, and that he has the skills in terms of vision and organizational skills to accomplish what he says.

I’m voting Ted Cruz in the primaries, and if he doesn’t get the nomination, but Donald Trump does, I’ll vote for Donald Trump in the general election. I will NOT be voting for Ben Carson. He’s very shaky on the 2nd amendment, and would likely legalize illegal aliens.
