When I referred to holding our noses, I meant to register as Republicans, not the voting for Trump part.

Cruz is by far the best, most brilliant, social and constitutional conservative in the field. My concerns with him, though, are these: Electability: Is he too good and too conservative for the stupid American public? Burning bridges: His "Washington cartel" red-meat speech plays well to the conservative crowd, but is he alienating Republicans whom he will need to rally behind him in the election? That said, Cruz is the one I support.
Trump is a shallow showman with no evident grasp of the Constitution, a boorish bloviating blowhard, a poll-obsessed narcissist, a reality-show entertainer, a crony capitalist who has admitted to trying to buy off politicians, a gambling-casino billionaire, and a longtime liberal on social, moral, and political issues. I do not trust him for a New York minute.
Rubio has some good points, but he needs to clarify his views on what to do with illegal immigrants who are here in this country. Until that happens, I am not ready to support him.
Dr. Carson I call "Human Anesthesia." A nice, smart, soft-spoken black guy that white Republicans can feel good about liking. The Three Amateurs, Trump, Carson, and Fiorina, are in over their heads. The presidency is not an entry-level position.
Huckabee and Jindal have some good points, strong on social issues, but seem to have little to no electability.
Bush. Meh. Not happening.
The rest are mired down in Patakistan.

There are a lot candidates, but really they represent only two options of what you can vote for.
Option 1: Vote for a better America through better government. Same basic concerns and solutions as Democrats but done better.
Option 2. Vote for a better America through less government. Totally opposite of Democrats, option 2 says "reduce government and respect the Constitution."
All but one embrace the approach of improved manipulation of government, use of government force in a different way, as a cure all.
Only one is guided by the same political compass as those of us who, like Reagan, understand that government doesn't have solutions to our problem, government is the problem.
You haven't spotted him. Too bad.

What state do you live in? If you are not in an early primary state, ie NJ, do not worry about it. Someone else will pick for you.

I like Ted Cruz because he is consistently conservative and he doesn't apologize for being so. Also, he takes the time to explain his position, no matter who does the asking. BUMP

Bush must REALLY be hurting, financially. The English skills of the trolls he’s hiring have gone WAY down. Is English even your first language? O habla primera Espanol?
