El Trumpo continued his attack on Ben Carson for his taking the lead in the Iowa polls while he joined CBS Face the Nation.
He tried to explain that he didnt intend his comments about Carsons faith as an insult, but rather that he just didnt know anything about the denomination. Some have said that its smart of his bringing up the subject as itll cause some doubt among Evangelicals in Iowa.
He also said that his campaign completely disavowed superPACs after a pro-Trump superPAC was closed down when the Washington Post found questionable ties to the Trump campaign.

I am an evangelical. My mother, also a Christian, sent me to a Seventh Day Adventist middle school not knowing it was a cult..it was two of the most awful years of my life...and I really, really grew to hatee veggie burgers!! Even at the age of twelve, I knew the Ellen G. White Stuff was blasphemy and anti Christian.
No. The only shared origin is the era they were both founded. Nobody prominent in the JW had any bearing on the foundation of the Adventist church and nobody prominent in the Adventist movement had any bearing in the foundation of the JW organization.
The invisible return of Christ that JW’s believe was concocted because of the false prophecy that he would return in 1914. That may not be taught among Adventists today, but a similar invisible event was believed by SDA’s when the prophesied return of Christ did not happen in 1844. That is why the invisible return was used as an explanation at that time.
Beware of False Prophets.
David Korish was a Seventh Day Adventist. (Waco Looney)
Trump can say whatever he wants to win the nomination, but I don’t want to sit through another religious melt down at Free Republic. Just saying.
I just told you how Adventists handled it she their belief that the Second Coming failed to come to fruition. They didn’t doggedly stick with a false doctrine and move the date up to a new time. They went back to their Bibles to go over everything and see what went wrong. They believe their mistake was that the cleansing of the temple was not earth but a Heavenly sanctuary instead.
Would it be a bad time to bring up the name of Hal Lindsay? :)
What denomination did Hal Lindsey found? I vaguely remember some guy by that name having a show on T.V.
He left the Adventist movement years before. He became part of the Branch Davidian movement, which shares some beliefs with the Adventist church but is not at all connected with the Adventist church.
I remember Evangelicals buying his books by the millions in the 70’s and I remember he also responded to his failure by moving the date of the Second Coming, similar to JW’s.
Wow! What an experience. Thank God you had that discernment at such a young age!
I didn’t know he had ever claimed to be a prophet. If he did, he was obviously a false one.
A prophet is anybody with a message from God. It’s not always eschatological in nature.
My brother got involved with JW’s many years ago. He finally got out of it before he passed away.
All cults teach “another Jesus”, just what Paul warned us against. In the case of JWs and SDA, Jesus is taught to be the Archangel Michael.
Lindsey never set a date for the rapture or second coming.
I realize that. A prophet claims to be speaking a divinely inspired Word from God. The Bible teaches us that we can tell a false prophet from a true prophet by whether or not what they have spoken comes to pass.
Ellen G. White was a false prophet.
Adventists mistakenly did that and they owned up to it and they corrected themselves on that. There is a difference between deception and error.
However, prior to Adventists bringing the idea of the Second Coming, no church taught that. Every church rejected the promise of the Second Coming. Every church at the time taught that paradise would be created on Earth.
How is an SDA candidate any different from one whose only reason for going inside a church was for weddings and funerals?
Go Trump!
I just hope he chooses Cruz as VP !!!
A lot of grunts and leathernecks owe their lives to unarmed SDA combat medics.
