Apple today released OS X 10.11.1 which:
– Improves installer reliability when upgrading to OS X El Capitan
– Improves compatibility with Microsoft Office 2016
– Fixes an issue where outgoing server information may be missing from Mail
– Resolves an issue that prevented display of messages and mailboxes in Mail
– Resolves an issue that prevents certain Audio Unit plug-ins from functioning properly
– Improves VoiceOver reliability
– Adds over 150 new emoji characters with full Unicode 7.0 and 8.0 support
OS X 10.11.1 also introduces support for Unicode 7 and 8, including new emoji that include taco, burrito, middle finger, hot dog, and unicorn head, among other.
The middle finger emoji, I’ve been waiting for that one.

If you want on or off the Mac Ping List, Freepmail me.
I decided to go back to Yosemite. One of my games would not play on El Capitan...hopefully soon.
After I downloaded all my music albums disappeared save two. Had to call support, resolved the issue but it was a pain!
So have we all. So have we all... :-)
Apple is catching up to Flash on the number of updates.
You mean this one: 🖕🏼?
If you have an Apple Mac with OS X.11.1, you can see it. Not too sure about other computers and devices. You might just see a blank box.
Uh, yeah, it's there. . . in the American Sign Language symbols. . .
The percentage threshold and warning frequency should be configurable!
I haven't had those problems. . . so I can't tell you. Sorry.
It’s a PITA.
Keyboard is at 14% probably got another few weeks.
Trackpad is at 4% going to be gone sooner, but no great rush.
The warnings need to be configurable. If I’m not traveling, 0% is the appropriate threshold, since I have plenty of batteries in the pantry. Otherwise, a once a day warning would do it to remind me to put in fresh batteries before leaving on a trip.
Probably, the proper setup for me would be daily warnings below, say, 8%?
I wish they would fix the Apple wireless mouse. It suddenly, for no apparent reason, increases the size of the type on a page to unreadable.
It is a pain.
