The internet is full of impressive amounts of very important news today, as per usual Joe Bidens will he or wont he crescendo is reaching its apex, Canada elected its Obama, the CIA directors personal email account was hacked, Gilmore Girls is coming back
but there is nothing, NOTHING, more important than Star Wars, so today lets talk about the new trailer for The Force Awakens, less than two months away from release, which dropped during an edition of Monday Night Football featuring frequent Manningface. You have already seen it, so watch it again. And prepare for some analysis that will probably result in vast overinterpretation.

Not a bad analysis. But from my perspective the protagonists are a black guy and a woman. Guess who Hollywood will have win?
They need to have an Empire Strikes Back ending to fully erase the shame of the prequels, and show that this is going to really be a serious take on the franchise.
But its likely that this will have a nice family friendly (whatever constitutes a family in 2015) ending because it is a Christmas release.
Actually none of that matters. Star Wars movies are now just long commercials for Star Wars toys and merchandise.
Yep, first thing I noticed too. Everything is PC now.
Okay, I read the article. I have no idea what I read. Oh, well. I’ll just wait for the movie to come out on disc.
I have four tickets for December 18. I hope they haven’t PC’d it too much!
The first two or three are classics. After that..they blow. Jar Jar binks? Really?
I think what he’s saying is in a universe with millions of planets and systems held together in some vast political alliance, only a strong, aggressive government could hold it together, and that was the Empire.
The Rebels were hippies who had false hope about the goodness of men, er, sentient beings, insofar as each would seek arrangements suitable to their own survival and benefit; not what was best for everyone.
So the very far away galaxy from a very long time ago needs a Sith at the whip hand, so to speak, because only a cold hearted brute can make the hard choices.
Kind of a Dad, versus a Mom. Empire = Father, Rebels = Mother.
Why do I have the feeling one or more of the characters in this movie will turn out to be gay?
How dare ya’ll besmirch Cousin Jar Jar!! -
