non-political question about Hillary

Posted on 10/19/2015 9:46:20 AM PDT by YankeeinOkieville

While watching a Denver television station interview with Hillary Clinton I noticed what looked like a scar at the base of her neck from intubation or surgery or ??. Because the outfit sort of covers it, I googled for other pictures of her and some do seem to confirm this. Does anyone know about any health issues here?

Is that fashionable? It reminds me of something I wore through 4 pregnancies in the 1960s. Ugh!

Thanks for the link, Joe. While the article and comments were interesting, even the blurb in your quote do not address anything that would leave a scar on her neck... if indeed that is what it is.

Nice screen grab. Thank you.

So, y’all see it too?

When Candice Bergen got wrinkles on her neck like that she took to wearing high necked blouses and high choker necklaces to cover it.

Depending on where the scar is, it might be from thyroid surgery. She is known to have thyroid problems.

Hmm. Interesting thought and possible explanation, however a quick search of the internet speaks of pills for hyperthyroidism with no mention of surgery.

“hyperthyroidisim” should read “HYPOthyroidism”

Search?

Goiter surgery used to be quite common. I’d be surprised if you never knew anyone with the problem.

The pills are usually hormone replacement to account for killing off the overactive thyroid.

“intubation” does not require an external entry. A tracheotomy would leave a scar.

SMH. I knew that. Need more coffee. Perhaps my brain will wake up. Thanks for the correction!

‘Low thyroid’ can be the result of thyroid/goiter surgery.

Very clear picture of what I’m seeing. Too much else to get into in that pic but I will just say whomever did her makeup missed a few age spots near her hair line.

* She tried to have plastic surgery to install a second mouth so she could tell twice as many lies, but it didn’t work. *

That's pretty funny!

I bet she'd try it if she thought that it'd work.

There is an expression from the Ozark Mountains:
“She has faces all around her head” when speaking about a hypocrite.

Maybe she had her other faces removed...

That’s where they inserted the new upgraded targeting system for her surface to air death ray.

‘Low thyroid’ can be the result of thyroid/goiter surgery.

Per the Mayo Clinic, you are correct

Thyroid surgery. Removing all or a large portion of your thyroid gland can diminish or halt hormone production. In that case, you'll need to take thyroid hormone for life.

Not to dismiss the possibility but also on that list is

Medications. A number of medications can contribute to hypothyroidism. One such medication is lithium, which is used to treat certain psychiatric disorders.

We do know that she does have problems with her brain. Is there any evidence "out there" of her having had thyroid surgery? (besides this scar)

I’ve never heard it mentioned, but the scar is consistent (it runs in my family) and it might have been a very long time ago. Maybe more obvious in recent years as the skin loses elasticity.

It could also be just a natural fluke, or related to cosmetic surgery.
