It is outrageous that in America a symbol can be banned because it "offends" someone or group of whiney liberals.
What's next, the American flag?
Pro-NRA decals?
Pro-Life bumper stickers?

All of what you list. We are at war and are losing that war.

But I'm offended...
Every time I see an Obama bumper sticker.

On the up side, Confederate flags, related merchandise, etc is selling in droves. Stay the course and fight the fight! We are facing evil on all fronts but good will triumph. Trust me. The Great OZ has spoken.

Intersting. Less than 20% have complied with this mandate.
So what’s next? Will they issue arrest warrants for the rest of them???
Just how far will they go to cleanse Virginia of these “offensive” plates which were not offensive at the time the state issued them????

i KNOW they don't like this one...

I personally can’t fathom whats wrong with the Confederate flag.
It’s certainly not racist. It’s a symbol of the South’s heritage and Southerners have every right to hold on to their heritage if they choose to do so.

Non-compliance is the solution. What are they going to do, come take the plates at gunpoint?

If I was a Virginian, I’d weld that CBF plate on, where no one (DMV or Cop) could take it off easily.

IF the license plates are state issued, the state can remove the flag. But that doesn't mean the license plate frame can't have the flag on it, or that you can't cover the bumper in flag decals and fly half a dozen on the radio antenna.
To hell with this PC nonsense. Fly the Battle Flag high, proud, and often!

I went bicycle riding on a rails-to-trails deal about a month ago. Very nice, gorgeous. But there were many more Confederate flags flying on the homes we passed than Stars and Stripes.
Folks there haven’t embraced the message, and aren’t likely to, I imagine.

I live in the heart of the major Civil War battlefields of Virginia. Lots of trucks flying the Confederate flag. Won’t matter if plates are taken away. Liberals haven’t made this far to rename the local Robert E. Lee Elementary School or Jefferson Davis Highway.
