Virginia has banned driving with a license plate that depicts the Confederate flag — but some in the state are resisting.
Around 1,600 Virginians with state-issued Confederate flag plates received a letter last month from the DMV saying they had until October 4 to swap them out for new ones that don’t show the flag. Only 187 people have so far complied.
One man who has not is Kevin Collier.
“Next thing you know, they’re going to say you can’t wear blue on Monday … or you can’t wear yellow on Thursday,” Collier, who is active with the Sons of Confederate Veterans, told a local news channel. “Where’s it going to end?”

All of what you list. We are at war and are losing that war.
Yes we are and I feel helpless and dumbfounded.
This tyranny didn’t happen overnight, but it sure seems it did.
It crept up on us. I have a friend that was born in 1932. I was born a little later. We both agree that once we came out of the Great Depression we enjoyed the greatest times in American History. The collapse came due to our Grand Father’s and Father’s success it made us fat, rich, lazy and immoral. Too much time on peoples hands creating a desire for “nerve excitement” leading to trivia.
On the up side, Confederate flags, related merchandise, etc is selling in droves. Stay the course and fight the fight! We are facing evil on all fronts but good will triumph. Trust me. The Great OZ has spoken.
Intersting. Less than 20% have complied with this mandate.
So what’s next? Will they issue arrest warrants for the rest of them???
Just how far will they go to cleanse Virginia of these “offensive” plates which were not offensive at the time the state issued them????

I personally can’t fathom whats wrong with the Confederate flag.
It’s certainly not racist. It’s a symbol of the South’s heritage and Southerners have every right to hold on to their heritage if they choose to do so.
Fines, probably but I wouldn't rule out jail time with McAuliffe being the Governor.
I guess the real question is, how far can they push us?
Non-compliance is the solution. What are they going to do, come take the plates at gunpoint?

If they think the compliance rate is low for a license plate, wait till they try guns.
It was the Battle Flag of Lee’s Army of Northern Virginia, who ought like crazy to defeat an invading army out of their state.
If I was a Virginian, I’d weld that CBF plate on, where no one (DMV or Cop) could take it off easily.

I've lived a long and good life, they won't take my liberty without a battle.
