A Muslim teen bought a strange ticking device to his high school that set off alarms and fear. The student was detained for having what resembled a bomb. Officers said the clock and wires inside his Vaultz pencil case looked like a hoax bomb to them. When questioned about the device was, the student, Ahmed Mohamed, wouldn’t answer. Now terror-tied Islamic groups like Hamas-CAIR, their media lapdogs and even President Obama are waging jihad against the school.
This whole thing smells like a set-up. With ISIS in America, and young moderate Muslims are fleeing to Syria to join the terror group, the Irving school’s response was rational and reasonable. I run news stories on a weekly basis of American Muslim teens arrested for trying to join ISIS. Just this week, a Philly Muslim teen was arrested for a plot to assassinate the Pope on his US visit.

My point entirely and it was made in the very first post of the early morning thread. The response to the mooselimb pestilence that I was pointing out was, ahem, not what I expected from pro-American Conservative activists. In their defense, that was before the picture of the device was widely publicized.

It is perfectly normal and natural for a kid (or anyone) of Mid-Eastern descent to bring a ticking object to his school, secured in his back pack.
However, if MY grandson were to stick his thumb up and point his finger at his ‘friend’ he more than likely would get admonished - if not be thrown out of school for ‘fake pretending a gun’.
Of course one should always be careful of pointing a finger at another - it has a nail in it.
How so? In all of the instances you cited, the LEO were on the right side. They were also correct in the killing of Christian Taylor, the thug who broke into the Arlington car dealership and started a rampage of vandalism. As I see it, Texas police aren't cowed by political correctness or the commie-controlled Black Lives Matter outfit.
