IRVING — Ahmed Mohamed — who makes his own radios and repairs his own go-kart — hoped to impress his teachers when he brought a homemade clock to MacArthur High on Monday.

Instead, the school phoned police about Ahmed’s circuit-stuffed pencil case.

Please be honest, if a kid looking like this guy came into your classroom with a homemade device that looked like a bomb, how would you react given the anti-American agenda of islam?

Did it look like a bomb or did it look like a clock?

poor little Mohamed.

It’s OK now. B. Hussein has just invited this kid to the White Mosque.

You are right about Irving. They built that huge temple quite a few years ago.

I wondered why... I mean, could there be that many Muslims in Irving.

But, remember, if you build it, they will come. And they did. Most of the house purchases in Irving right now are Muslim. They are beginning to take over neighborhoods.

I lived in Irving all my life. It is a nice suburb but in the last 20 years it has become the multi-cultural center of the universe.

There’s a picture of it. It doesn’t look a darn think like a clock, no numbers, no hands.

It looks exactly what you’d expect a bomb to look like-—briefcase, some circuits, wires.

Do you work graveyard shift?

No...just an old (74 soon) retired guy who did adhere to Ben Franklin's adage when working. Now that I don't have to watch the clock any longer, I tend to stay up way late.

I lived in Irving all my life. It is a nice suburb but in the last 20 years it has become the multi-cultural center of the universe.

It's really sad what's happened to the Metroplex over the past few decades. I now live 50 miles out from the urban cesspools. When I do, on rare occasions, head to places like Irving, I hear only Spanish and see large mosques everywhere I look. In my opinion, every mosque is an enemy fortress and every muzzie member of same should be treated as a terrorist in waiting.

mooselimbs: the enemy within!

Evidently the intellectually challenged teachers at MacArthur High School and the intellectually challenged officers of the Irving Police Department thought it looked like a bomb.

The photo produced by the Irving PD in today’s press conference looks like a 115 vac powered circuit board in a box to me. Who ever heard of a bomb that you have to plug into wall? Who ever heard of a bomb that didn’t have any explosive material?

Thanks, Irving, for making Texas look ridiculous ... again.

muslims automatically and rightly draw suspicion to themselves. This kid is muslim. Too bad for him.

Thanks. Now that day has dawned, it's heartening to see that genuine pro-American Patriots have joined this thread. When I posted it during the wee hours, the reaction was surprising since it seemed that quite a few were rushing to the defense of the enemy. And yes, make no mistake: every muzzie is the enemy in my book. No exceptions. The "moderate mooselimb" is a liberal lie.

I fully agree.

I say thanks to the Irving ISD and PD for being vigilant when it comes to the muzzie enemy within. Thankfully, this time, no one was killed. But what about the next time a mooselimb yute brings a real bomb to the school? Due to the influence of the bleeding hearts, he'll be given a pass for fear of a lawsuit.

And what's the meaning of "ridiculous again" in your phrase. Texas is a reliably Conservative state and I don't find it "ridiculous". We are blessed to have Senator Ted Cruz, Chuck Norris, Congressman Louie Gohmert, Ted Nugent and Governor Greg Abbot among the high profile Patriots here. It's not like, say, Vermont where a communist is running for president and hussein carried large majorities in 2008 and 2012. That's an example of looking "ridiculous...again and again and again".

It probably was not his intent to create controversy, but dang, this reminds me of the story of the time a bunch of Muslims were on a flight, and began yelling “Allah Akabar”.

They later sued the airline for stopping the flight due to suspicions.

His dad is a political activist.

I wouldn’t be surprised this was some set-up for political purposes to show how Muslims are always poor victims.

OK... so the kid makes a clock, that looks nothing like a clock. Yet he has to bring it in a briefcase?

Almost half a mind to report you to JimRob for being a stereotype troll working to confirm mindsets about Free Republic on the opposing side.

Well, "FRiend", I'm still here. Please report me to the boss as one who opposes islam and its muzzie adherents. Since we were exchanging comments in the early hours, the tide of this thread has shifted. Most Patriots deem it prudent to be highly suspicious of a mooselimb bringing such a device to school.

My major point remains that Americans must do everything possible to make the day-to-day life if mooselimbs (the enemy within) a living hell. A constant torrent of hassles, harassment, indignities and misery will send a clear message that these servants of satan are not to be in our Republic.

The Dallas Morning News had an editorial today excoriating Mayor of Irving Beth Van Dyne because they say she is catering to the right wing element in Irving and not reaching out to the Muslim community.

Typically DMN pandering. Glad I voted for Beth.

So they checked into the situation and then resolved it. He wasn't booked. I don't see any harm. Especially in today's world. life today and the harm done to innocent people in schools and public places has changed from 20, 30, 40, 50 years ago. No harm in investigating and moving on. I'm sure if he brought that to the white house, the SS and Bomb techs would double and triple test it for explosives before it was allowed in.

Thank you so very much. I shall not waver...I shall now back down. I’m old geezer and not much of an imposing figure but I’ll do what I can to fight the koranimals in every way I can. And I make no apologizes for being anti-muzzie.
