He was speaking at the National Press Club today and completely eviscerated Donald Trump. He started out by saying that he likes the idea of Trump calling out the establishment and that his diagnosis on Washington DC is correct. He finds the Trump show very entertaining and says he even laughed when he gave out Lindsey Graham’s phone number. But while his diagnosis is good, Jindal says Trump’s prescription of himself is not what America needs.
But then he lit into Trump, calling him a narcissist who only cares about ‘Trump’ and says the only reason he likes Kanye West is because West likes Trump. Jindal notes that like all narcissists, Trump is really weak and insecure and afraid of being exposed.
He had several really good jabs at Trump, but one that I thought was a particularly good zinger was when he explained why Donald Trump can’t even tell you his favorite verse in the Bible. He says Trump has never read the Bible because Trump is not IN the Bible! Wow.
Jindal says for the first time in a while conservatives have a real chance of winning, and yet right now an unserious candidate is leading the pack.
I have to say that I love what Jindal said. He really threw down the gauntlet and laid out the case against Trump better than anyone has thus far. And he didn’t do it in a mean and nasty way. He did it in a very thoughtful and substantive way.
Now all of a sudden Jindal looks like a serious candidate who is willing to fight for this nomination. BRING IT ON

This is just more proof that Jindal and the rest of the also-runnnings are copycatting Trump because they know their Milquetoast ways don’t resonate with Americans, only liberals, and we Americans are tired of liberals!
That is what i was thinking when I heard him on YouTube just now.

As of right now, I am voting for Trump. However, I am really starting to question some things.
Either Trump is so prideful that he believes nothing will hurt him or he is deliberately sabotaging his won campaign because he truly does not want to be President.
I really don’t know anymore.

I wish he would. What has the GOP done to advance the conservative agenda? What has it done to stop Obama? We game them control of both houses of congress and what have they done with it? We can do a lot better than the GOP.

I like Jindal and his back story, however, this isn’t like him - so, I have to wonder if the donors have pushed him into this or if these are just his personal feelings coming to light. Maybe a little of both. He can say what he wants - it doesn’t change my mind one little bit. Good luck to Bobby in his future endeavors.
Some candidates just dont inspire and ooze confidence/competence and thats a yuuuge factor. Does the El Yeb, bRand aPauled, Carly no Farina, Booby Jintsall, Lyn-see Goober and Mail man’s son inspire anyone here? Even Huckstabee, Glasses Perry, Riccio Santorium and even Kristi Kreme have some modicum of inspiring attributes IMO.

There, there. We know you are sad because Trump has such traction with the public in spite of your opprobrium. Feel free to cry if you wanna.
Trump should show that he has a sense of humor by giving some credit to Jindal on this line. It is funny, something that Trump himself would say.
No, he attacks and dies so very crudely. He’s an entertainer and a cheesy reality show host, and he knows that this behavior sells to an audience that has been Kardashianized by trash TV.
Jindal went on the attack. He is a smart guy. We’ll see.

Nevertheless, if Trump is the candidate we should vote for him. Many who run for high office are egomaniacs and some make good presidents.
And the way I see it, anyone who even wants the job has to be wired differently than most.

True. Trump IS a narcissist and an opportunist.
But he’s also about a billion times more effective than Bobby Jindal is at bringing and keeping illegal immigration at the forefront of the national discussion.
You have to have donors if you are not a billionaire.
We cannot expect billionaires to run every political office because they supposedly don’t have donors. They are their own donors and respond to their own interests.
