The bill for reparations would be a big one. Boris Bittker, a Yale law professor, argued 40 years ago that the simple way to figure who gets what is to multiply the number of blacks by the difference in white and black income. In 1973 this would have come to $34 billion, and a lot more than that now. By now that money would have all been spent, and the cash would have hardly put a dent in the difference.

Get rid of the Hip Hop culture and there will be a lot more Ben Carsons. What his has overcome is remarkable and to his merit. However, the culture goes against any sucess in the larger American culture because any self improvement gained by giving in to white culture and expectations.
Speaking normal English is racist. Getting a job and showing up to work is racist. Raising your children in their, not your, best interest is racist. All social progress is racist.

I’m still waiting for the reparations payments from black people for the years my great great grandfather risked his life on Civil War battlefields to make them free.
What about all the families of soldiers lost in the civil war? They should receive reparations from blacks.
The reparations were paid by the blood of the 620,000 people that died during the Civil War.
You are 100% correct, but the problem is the great majority of blacks still think Evil Whitey has his thumb on the scale holding them back. No amount of recitation of facts and statistics will make people who stoutly believe they are being oppressed change their minds.
As I'm quite sick of kowtowing to ignorant people who in general are a tremendous drag on the country, I would like to see much tougher measures enacted against black criminals and malcontents. Either they come around or they get punished.
It's time to stop the patronizing and pandering. Either black Americans want to get with the program or they can leave...forcibly if need be. The latter won't happen, but I've lost all patience.
We either need to get along with each other as exact equals, all held to the exact same standards - or we are not going to get along with each other.
I vote for door number 1.
