The forward facing flash will provide many entertaining moments when the “untechnical” accidentally set off the flash in their eyes.
Having it at Flint Center last year made sense, given the iPhone 6 and 6+ were the biggest change to the iPhone since the iPhone 4 in 2010--and it was the event that showed off the Apple Watch for the very first time.
Hoping for that 12.9” Ipad pro announcement.
The iPad Pro 12.9 is coming out
http://www.macrumors.com/roundup/ipad-pro/
The “iPad Pro” is said to be an even larger version of the iPad Air, with a display measuring in at 12.9 inches. Perhaps aimed at the enterprise market, it may feature an ultra high-resolution display and an A9 processor.
Expected Features
12.9-inch high resolution display
A9 processor
2 GB RAM
iOS 9
Touch ID
USB 3.0 ports (perhaps)
White/Silver, White/Gold, Black/Space Gray
It was standing room only at last year's event. . . Apple needed a larger venue. What I find interesting is that reports say that Apple has moved in large portable generators to provide extra power for the event. What in the heck could they need such extra power for that
Apple, please just make my 6 Plus work reliably. Touch input stops all the time in Safari (cannot click links). Safari stalls out randomly — won’t resolve IPs. I have to constantly kill all running apps, clear cache and history on Safari, and restart the thing to get it running again. Then it all starts degrading and going into the toilet again. I did not expect all these on-going problems. I wish Apple and MS would take a breather and fix long-standing problems before jumping to the next gee-whiz feature.
Then don't bother to read it, or tell us you're bored. Go on to something that does interest you. Your post is booooorrriiingggggg to us.
Wow they still haven’t realized that they missed the market window on the TV appliance thing. Now they’re adding voice control so that your Apple TV will work just like your PS4 or XBox One. And of course the cultists this is nothing like anything anybody else has ever done.
It sounds as if you may have a defective iPhone. Take it in and have it exchanged. You certainly have problems that the vast majority of iPhone users are not experiencing. Have you tried restoring it to factory and restoring your data?
Sorry to hear you’re having so many problems with your iPhone 6+. I’ve been loving just about every single thing about mine.
Can they replace yours? Have they tried fixing at Apple store?
How is 30,000,000 AppleTVs sold "missing the market window", discostu? That's a pretty good number sold. Microsoft has sold under 5 million Xbox One units and Sony has sold 20.2 million PS4s. AppleTV has outsold both of those combined.
Because they’re in last place for TV appliances:

Just a guess, but if it was me I'd leave nothing to chance on a major announcement like this; I'd have a throw-over just in case anything happened to the power at the venue...
MacRumors has already confirmed that the iPad Pro will be supported by iOS 9.1, so look for the launch before the Holidays.
Only in the last month or so. . . because the rumors of a major upgrade. Who in their right mind, aware that Apple is going to do a major upgrade, is going to buy the old version, when a new model, with major new features is coming out, most likely at the same price, next month or thereabouts? Not a smart buyer. It happens overtime new Apple products are due for refreshes. Use your head for more than a hatrack, discostu, you are smarter than going for the obvious FUD published three days ago, during the three weeks lead up FUD Season that precedes every Apple product announcement.
We bought AppleTV last year because I wanted to be able to stream all our in-house movies to the downstairs TV for the kids. It’s all on an external drive connected to my little Mac Mini. It works great, and only $99. No way was I investing in a new gaming system for that. Have I joined the Borg? Yes, yes I have. LOL
