I'm surprised they chose such a big venue for this event--unless not only are they unveiling the new iPhone 6s and 6s+ and the new Apple TV, but other things like WatchOS 2.0 for the Apple Watch and maybe even new iPad models.

Having it at Flint Center last year made sense, given the iPhone 6 and 6+ were the biggest change to the iPhone since the iPhone 4 in 2010--and it was the event that showed off the Apple Watch for the very first time.

It was standing room only at last year's event. . . Apple needed a larger venue. What I find interesting is that reports say that Apple has moved in large portable generators to provide extra power for the event. What in the heck could they need such extra power for that
