I'm surprised they chose such a big venue for this event--unless not only are they unveiling the new iPhone 6s and 6s+ and the new Apple TV, but other things like WatchOS 2.0 for the Apple Watch and maybe even new iPad models. It was standing room only at last year's event. . . Apple needed a larger venue. What I find interesting is that reports say that Apple has moved in large portable generators to provide extra power for the event. What in the heck could they need such extra power for that

What in the heck could they need such extra power for that Just a guess, but if it was me I'd leave nothing to chance on a major announcement like this; I'd have a throw-over just in case anything happened to the power at the venue...

What in the heck could they need such extra power forMy guess: Extra wifi hotspots and charging stations for nearly three times the attendees as last year in addition to Apple's own demonstration gear. You don't want feed glitches when nearly all of those people will be live-streaming the event!
