I thought the Lone Gunmen were killed off...
Will this series be on cable TV or a regular channel?
Loved this show and its entire cast of characters back in the day.
You know, as a big a sci-fi/spooky stuff fan as I am, I never really got around to watching the X-Files. I saw one complete episode - the infamous “F. Emasculata” ep. about the prison infected with some sort of exploding boils disease (eewww!!!)
Mulder: I hardly think the FBI is concerned with matters like that.
So many loved this show. I’m glad for them it’s returning with the same people, and they both look great, too.
Sometimes things go good:)
I loved this show and was really sad when it ended. Amazing that the key players are returning.
Jerry Hardin played the source “Deep Throat,” while Steven Williams played his successor, “X.” Both died in the original run of X-Files.
> Besides Reyes, the list of characters confirmed to return for an appearance in the “X-Files” event series so far includes the Lone Gunmen (Dean Haglund, Tom Braidwood and Bruce Harwood), Walter Skinner (Mitch Pileggi) and the Cigarette Smoking Man (William B. Davis).
Cigarette Smoking Man was killed off, apparently — but Carter said, “you can’t kill the Devil”.
The Well-Manicured Man won’t be back, the actor has passed.
I always figured that killing off the Lone Gunmen was a brain-dead idea, but that they were plausible as candidates for having faked their deaths.
I’d be surprised if the show can be rebooted and hold the same interest as those first six years did.
